Iris's P. O. V.
"What? Iris, what's wrong?" My mom asked turning to me.
"C-could we talk in private?" I asked.
"You must state your reason here." The priest said.
"Um okay." I looked at Cole who looked like he had just seen a ghost. "I don't want you to marry Cole because........ because he killed Rose."
"What!?" My mom gasped looking at Cole, then back at me. Both of us had started crying.
"Look." I showed her the pictures from my phone.
"Where did you get these?" She asked.
"Dad showed them to me. He also told me that Cole's fingerprints were all over Rose's body, but the case was randomly dropped." I told her.
"Call the police." She whispered to Kristin with tears falling down her face before turning to Cole.
"How could you do this!?" She screamed. Before I knew it Jack was in front of my mom punching Cole in the face.
"Jack!" I tried to pull him back with Sydnie's help, but he pulled away punching Cole again. The guys ran up and took Jack away.
"Amelia please, it's not true. That's not me! Please don't do this." Cole screamed.
Soon, I saw the police running down the aisle. Cole saw them too, and immediately started running. My mom had fallen to the ground, crying.
"I can't believe it was him." She cried. Kristin and I sat down and tried to comfort her.
"Let's go back inside." Kristin said standing her up.
"Iris tell the guests they need to leave."
"I'm pretty sure they already know that based on the fact that the police are chasing the groom." I said looking at the empty chairs.
"Right. I just need to get your mom out of here." I nodded as she walked off.
"Iris!" My dad shouted walking up to me.
"Dad! I need you to go take care of mom. Please." I said as the tears spilled from my eyes.
He ran towards my mom and Kristin leaving all of the kids shocked and confused.
"I have so many questions." Ava said
"We can answer them later, but right now you all need to go inside. I'm gonna stay out here and talk to the police that are walking towards us." I told them.
They all left except for Zach who stood next to me, with his arm around my waist.
"Excuse me ma'am, we have a few questions."
"Okay."
"We caught the man, but could you tell us who he is and why he was running from us?"
"His name is Cole Patterson, but now that I think about it, that's probably not his real name. He murdered my little sister three years ago, but was never caught. Her name was Rose Watson."
Amelia's P. O. V.
I made it back to the house with Kristin. I plopped on the couch and cried my eyes out. I could hear Kristin talking to someone, but I didn't pay attention to who it was.
"Amelia?"
I hadn't heard that voice in years, and I was having mixed emotions about it.
"Lance?"
"Iris told me to come check on you. I'm really sorry about all this."
"This must've been hard on you, too. After three years, they finally found him. And thank you, for telling me. It would've been the biggest mistake I ever made." I said wiping my tears.
"No problem." He sat next to me on the couch.
"But why did you tell Iris and not me?" I asked.
"When I got here it was too late. I saw Iris and grabbed her."
"It's great that the first thing you say to her after being gone for over a year is that my fiance killed her sister." I replied sarcastically.
"Amelia, I'm sorry. It hurt me to tell her, but I knew there wasn't much time. I didn't want it to be too late."
"When did you find out it was him?"
"I had found the picture a few weeks ago. When I saw a wedding announcement on your Facebook, I recognized Cole. I hired a P.I. and they found stuff on him. I flew out here last night and came here today."
"I guess I owe you a thank you then." I smiled.
"You're welcome." He returned the smile. "You look beautiful." He pushed a strand of my hair behind me ear and looked into my eyes.
"Lance, stop."
"I'm sorry. But seeing you in this white dress reminded me of our wedding day." He smirked. "Remember?"
"How could I forget? We fell off the side of the pier and almost drowned." I laughed.
"Well there's that, but I was thinking more about that night..."
"Lance." I scolded. We conceived Iris that night.
"I'm sorry. I'm sorry, I'll stop." He put his hands up in defense.
"Amelia, can I talk to you?" Kristin asked coming into the room.
"I gotta go. I have a flight in a while so yeah."
"It was nice seeing you. And thank you." I told him.
"You're welcome." He smiled before walking passed Kristin who replaced his spot next to me.
"What's up?"
"What was all that about?"
"Nothing."
"Right. Anyways, you still have your honeymoon paid for. What are you gonna do with it?"
"Oh I didn't think of that. I don't know, maybe I'll just get a refund."
"No, you could use the time away. Especially now. Find someone to go with you, maybe Iris?"
"Yeah I'll talk to her."
After a few moments of silence, Kristin spoke again.
"So you're feeling better?"
"Of course not. My ex husband just told my daughter that my fiance killed my other daughter. It'll be hard to feel better, but I know I'll have to try."
"Yeah. I think that the police are talking to Iris." She said looking out the window down to the beach.
"I better go out there with her."
"You sure?"
"She was young when it happened. She won't know as much as I do."
