Iris's P. O. V.

I woke up forgetting about the note, until I looked at the window. I opened the curtains hoping it was a dream, but there it was. The pink sticky note with the words my ex boyfriend had written in black sharpie.

"How did he get up here?" I asked myself. The window was on the second floor, and there wasn't any way to get up without a ladder or something.

I grabbed my phone to see three good morning texts. Kayla, Jack, and Zach. I replied to all of them with the same good morning.

I texted Zach and Jack both the picture of the note, and I made sure to tell them that he was in Utah last night.

Zach told me that he couldn't do anything to get between us, and that I was safe as long as he was in Utah.

Jack replied with "if that bastard tries to mess with you, Zach, or Kayla, I'll kick his ass" which made me laugh.

When I replied to Kayla, she read it then called me.

"What's up?"

"I have big news!!" She shouted.

"What is it?"

"Daniel just told me that he'd send me tickets to the Colorado show!" She shouted I could feel the huge smile on her lips through the phone.

"That's amazing!"

"He gave me Limelight tickets so I'll get to spend as much time with him as I can."

"Kayla, Limelight tickets are like $200. He must really like you."

"I hope so. He told me that if I'm as cool in person as I am on the phone, he'd let me on the tour bus and I'll go to their second Colorado show," she squealed causing me to take the phone away from my ear.

"He was just joking. He'd take you to all of the shows if he could," I told her making her squeal again.

"What about you? How are you and Zach?"

"You know Jazmine? The girl on tour with them?"

"Yeah."

"She does NOT like me. I heard her talking about me to Zach."

"What did Zach do?"

"I wasn't supposed to hear this, but he told her he loves me."

"What!??!"

"I'm not supposed to know yet. He's probably waiting until the right moment," I told her

"How are you not freaking out!? Zach Herron just said he loves you!"

"I'm acting like I didn't hear it so it'll be more special when he tells me."

My phone vibrated meaning I got a text. I put Kayla on speaker then checked the message. It was a picture from a random person.

I clicked on it to see a guy and a girl kissing. I looked closer to see the guy was Jesse, and the girl was...

I gasped very loudly as I focused on the picture.

"What's wrong? Are you okay?" Kayla asked

"Um, I have to go," I said trying to keep myself from crying.

"Oh, okay. Text me later?"

"Yeah sure." I hung up and looked at the picture again.

It was obvious who it was. I could see Jesse's face and the girl was wearing the best friend bracelet I gave her when we were seven.
