Zach's P. O. V.

"Zach I need you," she whispered just before the call disconnected.

"David!" I yelled getting out of my bunk and running to the front of the bus.

"What's wrong?"

"I need to go back to California."

"Dude, you have a show tomorrow."

"Well when's our next break?"

"The day after tomorrow. You can fly out there Thursday, but you have to fly to Washington on Friday."

"Okay. Thank you so much," I said walking back to my bunk, but Jack stopped me.

"What's wrong?" He asked grabbing my arm.

"Iris. Jesse hid in the back of her car and threatened her."

"What!?"

"She was at Logan's so he got down there and took care of Jesse, but he'll come back."

"So you're gonna fly to California to get Jesse, even though he's probably not there anymore?"

I felt the tears in my eyes. "No. I'm flying to California because Iris needs me." I went back to my bunk and bought a plane ticket.

Iris's P. O. V.

I sat up in bed and immediately dropped my head in my hands, remembering what had happened last night.

"Hey, are you awake?" Ayla asked slowly opening the door.

"Yeah, what's up," I said yawning.

"Just came to check on you. Logan had some errands to run and he told me to stay 'til you woke up."

"Oh, you didn't have to do that," I told her.

"It's okay. Maybe we could hang out together today. Have some girl time." She laughed.

"Sure."

"How about a spa day? Logan said he'd pay."

"Let me get ready and I'd be happy to join you," I told her getting out of bed.

I got ready and met Ayla in the living room.

"Let's go," she said.

Ayla drove us to this fancy spa. We put our names on the list for everything they offered.

"You deserve a spa day after everything you've been through," Ayla said as we waited

"Thanks." I knew my body would enjoy the spa, but my mind would be running crazy thinking about Jesse and what he might do.

They took Ayla and I into a private room that Logan had paid extra for. He's really going all out, and he didn't need to.

Ayla and I walked out of the salon refreshed and with a fresh coat of nail polish on our nails. I looked at my phone to see a million texts from Zach. When we got in the car, I called him.

"I texted you a bunch, why didn't you answer? Are you okay?" He said as soon as the call connected.

"Yeah, sorry I was at the spa all day with Ayla. We're fine," I told him.

"You scared me. I thought something happened."

"I'm sorry."

"It's okay as long as you're safe."

"I am."

"Okay. I have to go get ready for sound check, but I'll call you right after the show."
