Iris's P. O. V.

It was about eleven when the snow finally stopped. We had been stuck in the diner for eight hours. Everyone had gotten together to watch the New Years Eve show on the tv.

One of the waitresses found sparkling cider, so we all had glasses. We talked and got to know each other. Zach and I even sang after a few people recognized us and asked for a performance.

When it got close to midnight, we all gathered by the tv waiting for the ball to drop.

"5, 4, 3, 2, 1, happy new year!" We all shouted. Zach turned to me and kissed me with so much passion. It wasn't my first New Years kiss, but it was the best.

Nicole's P. O. V.

After the kiss, we went back into the living room where they had started playing twister. We joined in and had the best time together. As it got closer to midnight, we turned on the tv and got drinks for everyone.

"3, 2, 1, happy new year!" We cheered and took sips of our drinks. Jack pulled my arm, twisting me in front of him.

"Happy new year." He smiled before kissing me. It surprised me, I didn't think he would kiss me in front of his family, but I really enjoyed it.

About half an hour later, Myta and Kristin sent Reese, Isla, and Ryan to bed. The parents went into the kitchen to start cleaning up, and Ava went to bed too. Jack took me to the living room and sat with me on the couch.

We talked and talked and talked. About everything. It was like three hours until we realized we had been talking for that long. Everyone had gone to bed except for us.

"I'm not even tired." I laughed.

"Me neither."

"When do you think Zach and Iris will get home?" I asked.

"I'm not sure, did they reopen the roads?" Just then the front door opened.

"Home at last!" Zach said stepping inside with Iris.

"I'm so cold, oh my gosh," Iris said reaching for a blanket and wrapping it around her.

"Iris!" I jumped up from the couch, with Jack following, and hugged her.

"I haven't been home since last year," Zach joked.

"Everyone's asleep, but I'm sure your mom wants you to wake her up so she knows you're okay," Jack said to Zach.

"She's not asleep. She wouldn't go to sleep until I got home." He laughed making his way to the stairs.

"Has Jack been keeping you company?" She asked. I knew I had started blushing, so I tried to hide it.

"Yeah, I guess." I shrugged.

"Well Zach and I are super tired so we'll probably just go to bed now," she said yawning.

Iris's P. O. V.

I figured neither of them knew they both texted me about both kisses. I told them we were going to bed, because I knew that they wanted to be alone again.

I ran up the stairs almost smacking into Zach at the top. He laughed it off taking me to his room.

"Today was crazy." I sighed changing into my pajamas.

"Mhmm," he said changing, too.

"I'm just glad that we were together." I crawled on his bed and slid underneath the covers.

"Me too," he said sliding in next to me. He slithered his arm around my waist pulling me closer. He kissed my head then leaned down and kissed my lips.

The kiss lasted for a few minutes, but we pulled apart. I put my head on his bare chest before falling asleep.

"Zachy!!" The girl's voice woke me up. I saw Reese run in and jump on Zach, who soon woke up as well. She hugged him tight and he held her to his chest.

"I thought you got stuck in the snow!" She said.

"I did, but we made it back home," he told her. He kissed her cheek before she squeezed between us.

"Were you guys stuck in the car?" She asked.

"No, we found a diner and stayed there."

"Was everything white? Isla and I couldn't see anything except white snow yesterday."

"Yup, that's how it looked for us too."

"Mommy said she's making breakfast so hurry up and get ready," she said before jumping up and running out of the room.

"I'm so tired." I yawned.

"Same, let's just go back go sleep," Zach said turning to me and snuggling into my neck.

"Your mom probably wants us down for breakfast," I said

"But I'm tired," he whined. I laughed and ran my hand through his hair.

"Come on. Let's go. You can sleep on the plane later today."

"Ugh, fine." We slowly got out of bed and went downstairs to the kitchen where Myta had made french toast. We all ate and cleaned up.

"Ready to play in the snow?" Zach asked. I nodded before going upstairs to get dressed. We came back down in our thick coats, boots, gloves, scarves, and hats. Anything to keep us warm.

We opened the door and ran outside. We made snow angels and snowmen. Soon, everyone else came out and we had a huge boys against girls snowball fight.

We came in for a late lunch. Nicole had to leave pretty soon after that, making Jack sad.

"Now I know how you two felt."

"You guys aren't even dating," Zach said.

"I'm still gonna miss her." He sighed.

"I know buddy, I know." Zach sympathetically patted his shoulder.

"Ready to go?" Zach asked.

"Mhmm." We took our suitcases back downstairs and put them by the front door.

"Jack! We're all waiting on you!" Kristin yelled.

"I'm coming, I'm coming," he said slowly descending the staircase.

We all carried our suitcases through the snow to Myta's car. We drove to the airport and made it just in time for Jack's family's flight. We all hugged and said goodbye.

"You ready to get back to Cali?" Myta asked.

"Definitely." We answered.

We sat in the Starbucks waiting for our flight to be called. Once it was, we said goodbye again before walking to the gate.

"I'm so glad I'm finally coming with you this time," I said as we took our seats. I sat in the middle with Zach by the window and Jack in the aisle.

"Same," Zach said.

"Yeah, every time we get on a plane after leaving you, he cries." Jack laughed.

"Aww, I'm sorry baby," I said seeing Zach blush. I kissed his lips, making him smile, and smirk at Jack.

Just as I thought, Zach fell asleep quickly. He leaned his head on my shoulder and quietly snored. I took out my phone and recorded him on snapchat. When Jack fell asleep on my shoulder, too, I did the same.
