Iris's P. O. V.  *Earlier that day*

"Iris!" Jack called from his room across the hall.

"Hey, why didn't Zach come back with you guys?" I asked walking into his room. They had a meeting with their manager and some producers, but Zach didn't come back.

"That's what I wanted to talk to you about. He told me to give you this." He turned and picked something up from his nightstand.

"Happy Valentine's Day." Jack smirked as I took the rose and envelope from his hand.

I smiled before walking back to my room. I jumped on the bed and smelled the sweet red rose before opening the envelope.

It was obviously Zach's handwriting. He told me to meet him at my favorite Italian restaurant for dinner that evening. He also told me to dress nice, but I already knew that.

He told me to meet him at seven, and it was five, so I knew I'd need to start getting ready soon.

I showered and dried my hair before straightening it. I did my makeup and made sure everything looked good. I went over to my closet and began looking through it, trying to find something to wear. Once I landed on a short, skin tight, black dress, I pulled it out and slipped it on. I paired it with my black heels.

"How do I look?" I asked when Jack had walked into my room. It had become a regular thing for Jack to help me get ready for my dates with Zach.

"Beautiful, as always. Now go. I'm sure Zach is already waiting." He smiled. I gave him a hug and grabbed my purse before walking out to my car.

"May I help you?" The hostess asked as I stood waiting for Zach.

"I'm meeting someone here."

"Do you have a reservation?"

"Yes, last name is Herron."

"Ah, yes the special two. I can take you to your table if you'd like," she suggested. I nodded and followed her. She took me up a flight of stairs, and onto a balcony that I didn't know they had.

I sat down and texted Zach, letting him know I was there.

"Would you like a drink?" A waiter asked coming up to the table.

"Um, no thank you. I'm waiting for someone."

I tapped my fingers on the table waiting for Zach. Anytime I heard footsteps, I perked up, but was let down when it was just a waiter. I checked my phone over and over again, hoping Zach had some kind of explanation.

"Ma'am, are you sure I can't get you anything? You've been here for over an hour," the waiter asked sympathetically.

"Actually, I think I'll just leave. Thank you, though." I sighed, picked up my purse, and walked down the stairs and out of the restaurant.

Tears streamed down my face as I got into my car and drove home. I thought this would've been the best date ever. Why didn't Zach show up? And why didn't he text me or call me if he couldn't make it?

I sighed as I walked into my room. I slipped off my heels and went to the bathroom to remove my smeared makeup.

I walked out of the bathroom and saw Jack standing in the doorway.

"Where's Zach?" He asked. "I thought you two were getting dinner."

"I don't know. He never showed up."

"That's weird. He seemed really excited for tonight when we were leaving the meeting."

"Well he never showed up. I sat there for over an hour waiting for him. I didn't even get a single text."

"Maybe his phone died and something came up."

"Then where is he?" I asked.

"I don't know. I'll talk to the guys, see if they heard anything."

"Okay. Thanks." Jack walked out and I plopped on my bed.

Since Zach never showed up to dinner, I was absolutely starving. I stood up and began to walk out of my room, but I stopped when I heard Jack's voice.

"She's so upset," he whispered.

"You don't think Jaz-" Corbyn started.

"No, she left before our meeting even started," Jonah interrupted.

"But she was there. And you know how she is." I stepped out so they'd notice me.

"What did Jazmine do?" I asked crossing my arms.

"What? Uh, nothing."

"Don't lie to me. What did she do?"

"She was at the meeting with us, but David made her leave. We're thinking maybe she did something to sabotage your date."

"Then let's go find that bitch who stole my boyfriend," I spat.

"Where would we even look?" Corbyn asked.

"Her house maybe," Jack suggested.

"What about that find my iphone app?" Corbyn asked.

"Yeah, hold on." I went back to my room and grabbed my phone.

"Okay, let's go." We went to the car and drove to the location that Zach's phone was in.

"This is it?" Jonah asked in disgust as we looked at the torn down house in front of us.

"This looks like the house from that It movie," Corbyn added.

"Let's go find Zach." I sighed unbuckling my seat belt and getting out of the car.

We looked around the house, trying to find some way to get inside, when we saw a staircase.

"This is not a good idea," Jonah said. Then, we heard the sound of glass breaking, making me jump.

"We have to go." I swallowed.

"Let me go first," Jack said pushing in front of me. I held his hand as we walked down the stairs.

"I'm not letting you go until you tell me you love me." We heard.

"You're crazy!" Zach spat.

I felt tears spill from my eyes when Zach and Jazmine came into view. Zach was sitting in a chair with his arms taped behind his back and his legs taped to the chair. Jazmine was standing in front of him with a broken beer bottle.

"Tell me you love me! Or I'll kill you."

"Stop!" Jack shouted jumping from the stairs and running to Jazmine.

"How did you find us!" She shouted.

I ran to Zach while Jack and Jonah tried to calm Jazmine down. Corbyn was in the back calling the police.

The first thing I did was kiss Zach. Then I tried to rip the tape off gently, but I failed. Zach gasped in pain, but sighed once he was free. He stood up and wrapped his arms tightly around me.

"Jazmine stop!" Jack shouted, but he was too late. The gun that Jazmine had pulled out went off, and the bullet was headed straight towards Jonah.
