Iris's P. O. V.

Zach called me as soon as he got on the bus. I was still at Logan's house, but I went outside on the balcony.

"Zach, thank you so much. That was incredible," I said through the few tears that fell.

"You're welcome. I just felt like I had to do it."

"I sent the video to my mom and she said she was very thankful that I was dating someone as amazing as you."

"That's good. Your mom likes me."

"Of course she does," I told him laughing.

"Hey, Daniel is having Kayla come to the show in a few days. Why don't you come down too? You could see Kayla and the rest of us."

"I would love to do that, but I'm kind of in a difficult place with Kayla right now," I told him honestly. I know Ayla said I should talk to her, but I need to figure out what to say first.

"Oh. Are you alright?"

"Yeah."

"Okay. Well I'm here if you wanna talk. And if you change your mind just let me know."

"Okay. Thanks."

"I have to go. The band wants all of us to go live. You should watch."

"Okay. I will." We both hung up and I waited for the notification before I clicked on the Why Don't We account where all five guys popped up.

They answered a few questions but ignored the comments about Rose that I saw. It took a lot in me to do this, but I texted Zach telling him to face time me.

"Alright guys, I'm facetiming Iris."

"Zach, I wanna tell them about Rose," I said

"Are you sure?" He whispered.

"Yeah, they want to know and they deserve to know."

"Okay, Iris said she wants to tell you guys who Rose is herself." Zach turned his phone so my face was showing in the camera.

"Hey guys, it's Iris. But you already know that. Anyways, if you were at the show or saw videos of the show online, you would know that Zach graciously dedicated the show to me and someone named Rose.

"Rose was my sister. I say was because three years ago, my sister was killed. She was only five years old. I told Zach that she loved music, and I know for sure that she would've loved Why Don't We just like you guys do. He took my story to heart and decided to show her that we all miss her and care about her."

It was silent while we all looked at the comments. Most were saying things like 'I'm sorry for your loss' or 'thanks for sharing',  and stuff like that.

"Iris, would you be up to answering questions?" Jonah read from a comment.

"Maybe a few," I said softly taking deep breaths.

"No, I'm sorry guys. She said she can't answer any questions," Zach said turning the phone back around to face him.

"I'll be right back."

Zach got up and walked to a different part of the bus.

"Zach, I could've answered questions," I told him.

Zach's P. O. V.

I could see the hurt in her eyes. Seeing her like this made me want to cry.

"Iris, I know that it hurt you to say what you said. It would've made you feel worse if you said any more."

"But they deserve to know."

"I shouldn't have even done that at the show. I can see it hurting you." I put my head in one of my hands.

"Zach, I'm fine. I'm very thankful for what you did."

"But you don't need to talk about her any more than you have to. I don't want to see you upset."

"Thank you, but I'll be fine."

"You sure?" I asked.

"I promise, but I'm tired so I'm going to bed."

"Okay. Goodnight."

"Goodnight."

I hung up and started walking back to the guys when Jazmine stopped me.

"What's wrong, Zachy?" She asked putting her hands on my shoulders.

"Get off of me," I said pushing her away.

"You look upset, what's wrong?"

"You saw the live. You know what's wrong."

"You shouldn't be crying over her. She's just asking for attention. I bet she asked you to dedicate the show to her stupid sister so people would feel bad for her," she scoffed. I clenched my fists. I would've punched her in the face for what she said, but I can't.

"You may not like Iris, but that does not give you any reason to talk about her or her sister like that. You need to stop insulting her in front of me before I have you kicked off of this tour!" I yelled

"Zach I'm just trying to protect you! She doesn't deserve you!"

"Just stop Jazmine! I love Iris and that's that."

"But I love you. Why can't you love me?" I heard her ask quietly. I didn't know how to respond.

"Woah, what's going on here?" Corbyn asked coming between us.

"Jazmine and I just got into an argument."

"Why? What happened?"

I started to talk, but Jazmine interrupted.

"I was insulting Iris and her sister because I was jealous of her," she said looking at the floor.

"Why are you jealous?" Corbyn asked

"Because Zach loves her, and not me."
I shook my head. I saw that the bus stopped at a gas station, so I walked off the bus and into the store.

I went into the bathroom and walked in circles. I tried to calm myself down, but I couldn't do it. My mind was running in circles trying to gather what just happened. Jealousy is no reason to say something like that.

I heard a soft knock on the door, then Daniel walked in.

"I don't want to talk." I looked down at my feet while leaning against the seat

"She didn't mean what she said about Iris and Rose," he said ignoring what I said.

"Yes, she did."

"She just let her feelings get the best of her. She said some things she didn't mean because she was just trying to get you to pay attention to her."

"That's still no excuse to call Iris's sister stupid. That was more than cruel."

"I know. But do you think you could forgive her? Just for the sake of the tour?" Daniel pleaded. I sighed rubbing my face with my hands. Daniel stepped closer as I didn't answer, making me anxious.

"No. I can never forgive her for what she said."

"Zach, we can't have this drama between you two on tour. Think of the fans."

My face softened and my fists unclenched. He was right. I know I won't forget about it, but I need to put it aside and focus on the fans.

"You're right." I sighed. "I'm not forgiving her, but I don't don't wan to ruin the tour."

"I know. We're all a little mad for what she said, especially Jack, but we need to get over it."

Iris's P. O. V.

I cuddled with Rose on the couch outside and tried to think of what to say to Kayla. I really hoped this was some misunderstanding, but I wouldn't know until I asked her.

I decided that I would just sleep on it and call her in the morning.
