Jack's P. O. V.
"Get inside!" I pulled the girl through the front door of Zach's house. Texas was so unpredictable, a snow storm just randomly started and there wasn't much sign of it stopping.
I heard a knock on the door and as soon as I opened it, I was shocked, but I acted quickly pulling Nicole inside. She took off her jacket and boots that were covered in snow.
"What are you doing here?" I asked.
"Iris invited me. I was like two minutes away when they shut down the roads, so I knew I needed to get here quickly."
"I didn't even know you were coming. Zach and Iris are stuck at a diner somewhere, but you can hang with me."
"Great." She started shivering.
"Oh, I'm sorry. Do you want some hot chocolate or something? Everyone is watching a movie but we can do whatever."
"I'd love hot chocolate, and I'd love to watch a movie. As long as there's blankets." She laughed.
"Of course." I took her into the kitchen making us both mugs of hot chocolate. When I brought her into the living room everyone turned and looked.
"Guys, this is Zach and I's friend, Nicole," I said introducing her. She waved and everyone waved back before turning back to the movie.
I brought her to the couch where I had been sitting. She sat next to me and I pulled the thick blanket over us.
I texted Iris telling her Nicole was here. I was almost glad that Iris invited her, but isn't here. Ever since we met her in Dallas, I'd been thinking about her all the time. She's so beautiful, and funny, and she cares about her friends.
I didn't notice I had been staring at her until she looked at me and smiled.
"What?" She whispered.
"Nothing, just admiring your beauty," I whispered back making her blush.
She looked away, but snuggled closer to my body. I welcomed her by wrapping my arm around her and keeping her close.
The snow kept falling and pretty soon, everything was white. You couldn't even see the roof's on the houses. I hoped that Zach and Iris were safe.
Iris's P. O. V.
Zach and I sipped on our hot chocolate in our little booth. The other people had gotten together and were talking, but Zach and I stayed by ourselves.
"What do you think they're doing at home?" Zach asked.
"They're watching a movie. Nicole got there just as the roads closed."
"You invited Nicole?"
"Yeah, when I was home she was always there to talk and I helped some of the time. I wanted to get to see her, but also she has a crush on Jack and I'm pretty sure Jack likes her, too." I smiled.
"Nice." He laughed. "So you ready to get back to California?"
"I'm ready to get back to work. I've written like two more songs and I wanna get started on them. After being gone for so long, I feel like I let a lot of fans down. I don't wanna do that again."
"The ones who stayed are the ones who will always stay. They're the originals and they'll always be there for you. I still remember some fans faces and names from our very first shows."
"That's amazing."
"They're really special. I love them all so much. They've been with us since day one, and without them we wouldn't be here."
We talked some more, but were interrupted by our growling stomachs.
"I want a burger," I said.
"Same." He got the waitresses attention and we ordered two burgers. When they came back with our food, we dug in.
I took a huge bite of my burger, but choked on it when I looked down at my phone.
"Are you okay?" Zach asked laughing.
"Jack kissed Nicole!" I exclaimed.
"What!?"
"He said they were in the kitchen and she got really close and then he just kissed her, and it was like a full on make out," I told him squealing like a little girl.
Zach just laughed at me.
"Sorry, I'm excited. Jack hasn't liked a girl since.... well for a while," I said taking a sip of the water I ordered.
"Speaking of girls, have you talked to Kayla in a while? Does she know about everything?" He asked.
"I talk to her almost every night." I laughed.
"Oh."
"She said Daniel invited her and she wanted to come for Christmas, but her parents said no," I told him.
"Oh. Speaking of parents, do yours know you're stuck?" He laughed.
"Nope. It's best if they don't know. If they know, they'll worry, so I'll only tell them if they ask." I chuckled.
"I've never seen this much snow in my entire life." He laughed looking out the window.
"I have. One year we went to Europe and it snowed like this. My sister and I sat in the window watching it. And when it stopped snowing we went outside and played in the snow all day long," I said smiling at the memory in my head.
"Maybe we can do that. Once it stops, we'll play in the snow." He smiled. I looked up and down at each of us, jeans and short sleeve shirts. I had stolen Zach's hoodie, too.
"I don't wanna get frostbite." I laughed. "We'll play in the snow when we get home."
"Okay." He laughed before leaning in to kiss me.

I brought Nicole into the kitchen to make everyone more hot chocolate. I put the mugs into the microwave and waited.
"I'm really glad that you're here. Iris didn't tell me you were coming," she said standing against the counter.
"I'm glad that you're here, too. I've been thinking about you a lot lately," I said stepping closer
"Really?" She arched an eyebrow.
"Mhmm. Thinking about you, your beautiful hair, your mesmerizing eyes..." I put my hands on the counter trapping her between my arms.
"I couldn't help but think about you, too," she said quietly. I pushed a piece of her hair behind her ear, before pushing my lips on hers. She reacted quickly, putting her hands around my neck and pulling me closer.
I picked her up and set her on the counter, not breaking the kiss once. My hands began to slide up her shirt.
"What's taking so long in there?" My mom asked from her seat. I pulled away, both of us breathing heavily.
"That was-"
"Amazing," I finished. She hopped off of the counter and kissed me again before getting the hot chocolate ready.
