Prologue
They say in your dreams, you can only see faces you know; you can't make up new ones. That's why when I had a dream of a boy and woke up not remembering his face, I knew the mystery man had to be special.
It was the other day when the dream occurred. I had school like every other 17 year old girl and was abruptly woken up right when it was getting good. Groaning, I managed to slowly get ready for school. I put my long brown hair up into a high pony and did my make up as natural as I could. My outfit for that day was a nice floral dress with Toms because it was starting to become really warm out for New York. I quickly grabbed my keys and left.
When I arrived at West High School, I met up with my friends Leah, Chloe, Cooper, Seth, and Ethan. We all talked like it was a normal day. Ethan and I would joke around while Seth would flirt with Chloe. I never knew where Leah and Cooper would go but we all assumed they were kissing somewhere.
Ethan had started to poke me so I turned away laughing-- that's when I saw him. Shocked by the unexpected face, I slowly began to stop laughing. I don't know who he is or where he came from, but I know he's the one.
