Things Wattpad Authors Do That I Hate

Chapter 13

I don't know why, but I just felt like updating today. Maybe its because I'm insanely bored and I'm feeling a bit better than I was a couple days ago.

Now, this chapter is about authors who are a bit too worried about getting their book published, rather than actually taking the time to see if it meets the standards of his\her readers.

You're so worried about getting votes and comments but like you're not putting ENOUGH effort into your writing.

You get what you give in life. This has always been my motto. Right now, I feel like crap but you guys are important to me, so I'm going to make the sacrifice to continue writing.

Everybody has a purpose in life.

Everybody.

Regardless if you're rich or poor.

If you're black or white.

Everybody deserves a chance to shine and feel special at some point of their life.

But....

If something is not meant for you, then don't push it.

If you don't feel passionate about writing,don't do it.

Like me, for example.

I don't have 30 million followers on Wattpad but nevertheless, I still do it because its something that I loved to do ever since I was a little girl.

My book, Lost Souls To The Pyscho currently only has like 6 reads on it but I still haven't given up on it. It was my favorite short story to write because I felt all the emotions coming from the main character. I wrote stuff in that story that's similar to what I went through.

I like stories that I can relate to, you know?

Not where the main character is always skinny, blonde and flawless.

Like, come on, not many girls can relate to that. (No offense to blondes)

One more thing before I go.

Its wrong to bash another author's success just because you haven't received your own yet.

Treat others the way you want to be treated.

You never know what that author is going through, and you bashing them is making it worse.

You don't know how much blood, sweat, tears and false hopes that writer went through just to get where they are today.

Nobody likes a Debbie Downer.

I'm telling you, you get what you give.
