Sometimes, us as readers have to sit down and realize the things that authors go through. I don't know about you, but I like weird comments and funny usernames. It gets kind of sad to see what Wattpad has morphed into. Now, its just filled with the same old books being at the top of the list for months on end. New writers on this site don't even get the chance to get noticed, but I guess this is reality.
Some advice to the new authors; don't expect to receive two thousand reads in one night( kudos if this happened to you). It took me a couple of months to get this story noticed, but it was worth it. I met some pretty amazing people on my way to discovering what my real writing style is.
I guess what I'm trying to say is patience, manners and intelligence take you a long way.
