Things Wattpad Authors Do That I Hate

If you are an author on this site, you'll get what I'm saying in this chapter.

You are just minding your own business, then you see some other author commenting like they know it all.

These controlling authors are so annoying.

They try to tell you what to do with your own book! I'm like ' if I want Suzie to have 11 toes then I'm going to do it!'

It's even worse when they try to act like they're not doing anything wrong. These types of writers usually start off like:
1. Not to be rude, but I think that you should change Suzie's age, she's too young to have eleven toes.
2. Why does her hair have to be brown? Can't it just be blue?
3. I really liked this chapter, but it was a little too sad for me. Can you change it to something different?

Now, my response to these things would be:
1. Her age doesn't have any relevance to this story. Her doctor said that if annoying people on Wattpad keep pressuring her to be normal, she just might grow a twelfth toe.
2. Sorry, but no. This is my story and if I want the main character's hair to be brown, it will be brown.
3. Clearly, you didn't read the description and the tags. This story has angst in it, meaning it isn't going to be all lovey dovey all the time. If you don't like it, you can leave.

See? You don't have to be rude to the controlling types of authors, just show them their place as a READER.  I'm not going to lie though, number 3 really gets under my skin. It really upsets me when people say that they feel like my books are too sad. Like, what are you talking about? There are things like this happening:

There are people dying out there every second, and you're getting riled up because my book has a crying scene?

*Insert rolling of eyes* Seriously, get a life and stop being a downer.

If you could meet any singer, who would you meet? I honestly don't know about me because I don't really have a desire to meet any celebrities.

You know how they say big things come in little packages? I've realized that there are some amazing books on Wattpad that only have like, ten reads. It always leaves me shocked because these writers really deserve special recognition.

I really feel so happy. One of my close Wattpad friends has been promoting my books and I'm so thankful. It's a little tiring doing it on my own. My shyness sometimes prevents me from messaging people for self promo. Even when I do, I still get scared.

Who else reads a person's bio before deciding to interact with them?
