How come she can do it but he can't?

How come he can do it but she can't?

If he does it he's instantly classified as a bad guy.

If she does it she's instantly classified as dirty.

I'm ashamed to say that for most people( including me) get most of their ideas for their books based on what society has given them.

We see that women are supposed to stay at home and take care of the children and clean while men are the breadwinners. This is an example of how much we depend  on society's standards to live our own life. It's  kind of sad really, but I can't really judge the people that believe in these things because I tend to conform towards these biased opinions myself.

In Wattpad books and in real life, if a man were to cheat on his partner, he would instantly be classified as a dog and everybody would be like 'It's normal, he's a guy.' Why in the barnacles do we do this? If a woman were to cheat on her partner, literally the whole world would stop and stare. The world would just start hurling a bunch of insults at the woman. I just don't understand why. Is it because she is a female?

Another scenario I want you to imagine is a woman catching her partner cheating, then she goes up to him and slaps the soul out of him. Would you believe that some people applaud her for doing that(including me).

Now  imagine a man catching his partner cheating and he slaps the living daylights out of her. It would be a completely different reaction from those comments. Some of which most likely will be:
1. That's abuse.
2. Even if she was wrong, he shouldn't have hit her.

Listen to me humans, abuse is abuse, okay? There shouldn't be any type of double standards regarding these types of issues. One of our main problems is that we're too wrapped up in our personal beliefs that we forget that  somebody has just gotten hurt.

This chapter has my eyes twitching and all😂🤣
