Come on, she has like fifty seven thousand reads and only five votes. God bless her poor widdle heart. I read the book and it wasn't even that bad.
Trigger Warnings. They're called trigger warnings for a reason.
For example, if there's a teenager who is being bullied. A person reading the book could be going through the exact same thing. In that same book, the teenager who is the main character then decides to commit suicide.
Moving on to the person who is reading the book. I know this might seem stupid for some of you, but it actually happens in real life.
There are thousands, maybe even millions of readers who are younger than thirteen years old. So, you might not want to give them the impression that suicide and cutting is the best decision, even if they're going through a really tough situation.
So, please make sure if your book contains any suicidal/ rape/ extreme violence scenes, put some type of warning in the beginning. You'd hate setting someone off just by reading your book, right?
Did you enjoy the storytime? Some of you probably thought I overreacted, but I was just so angry at her. She knows that I would never try to bring someone else down online, especially on Wattpad. Shit, do you realize how hard it is to press the facking publish only for someone to just degrade it? I honestly don't let these comments get to me anymore because I know what I'm capable of.
