You know when you compliment an author but yet they're so proud that they can't even say thank you? Yeah, for me it is really annoying because I'm trying to encourage you but you don't appreciate it.
I personally feel like authors should appreciate all of their audiences even if some of the audiences are hating on you .
Like for example, whenever I feel down I just listen to music. It actually helps. Some authors though, its like they're on their period everyday lmao.
