The awakening

Jamila's POV

I woke up the next morning with my head pounding, suddenly everything came back to me, Brooke came and I was drunk, me drunk, making a fool out of myself, guilt poured into my body and I felt sick, I ran to the bathroom and threw up, I felt a pair of warm hands go around me and I looked up and realised of was Niall, I looked into his sad eyes and realise I've hurt him too, I've been a total bitch! I stood up from the ground and collapsed into Niall's arms,

"I'm so so sorry Niall, I've been a total bitch and I really didn't mean to did what I did that night I kicked you out, I wasn't thinking straight, I'M SO SO SORRY!", I cried harder and Niall hugged me,

"it was my fault making that comment, don't blame yourself",we continued to cry in the middle of the bathroom,

"come on, lets go make you some breakfast", said Niall,

"uh Niall can we find something for a hangover, I've got a really bad one", he laughs and takes,

"well Dr Hiram better get you some Advil then", I laughed for the first time in ages and smiled, he really knew how to make a girl smile.

Liam's POV

I felt bad doing this behind everyone's back, we were supposed to tell each other everything but no, I was keeping a dirty secret, Brooke and I have secretly been dating before Ruby's accident, we didn't tell anyone because we thought they'd make fun of us,

"Li, do you think it's right doing this, Jamila is starting to figure it out and I think Niall is too", Brooke came up to me and hugged her tightly,

"don't worry babe, we'll be fine",

"we haven't been seeing everyone for ages and their probably all thinking 'they've hooked up and they'd rather be together than be with all of us' you know yesterday was the first time I saw Jamila in a month, a month Liam", she looked at me worried and I smiled,

"Brooke, breath, you're getting way to overreacted", I kissed her and she smiled,

"I love you Liam",

"I love you too Brooke".

Jamila's POV

"And when Brooke came over yesterday, that was the first time I'd seen her in a month, what's up with her", I was talking to Niall while he cooked up breakfast,

"same with Payno, that day we went to the pool, something was up with those two", answered Niall, I smiled and we both laughed,

"here's your breakfast madam", Niall placed Bacon and eggs in front of me and my stomach turned, I ran to the sink and threw up once again,

"my cooking isn't that bad is it", Niall laughed and I playfully hit his arm,

"I don't think I'm ready to eat yet", I laughed,

"are we gonna go to the hospital?", asked Niall, I nodded and tried to hold the tears back,

"I'm just gonna go have a shower", I say exiting the room, I walk into the bathroom and then the shower on, suddenly a memory came flashing back.

FLASHBACK.....

We were just normal 15 year old girls watching Paranormal Activity, Ruby hiding under the cover and me watching the movie like it was nothing,

"if a demon ever touched you, I'd beat the shit out of them", I laughed at Ruby's joke and she joined in,

"god of I didn't ask that question that day we never would've been here", sighs Ruby

"what colour's your toilet?",we both said at the same time laughing,

"always remember JJ, your my bestest friend ever", I smiled and we continued to watch the movie.

END OF FLASHBACK....

I smiled but also cried at the memory, I hopped out of the shower and put my tracksuit with my white Nikes, I did my makeup and put my hair in a messy bun and I was done. I walked downstairs to find Niall at the door waiting for me,

"you ready?", I nodded and we both headed out to the car. In 15 minutes we were at the hospital, I was never nervous to see Ruby but this time I was. We went into her room and I rushed to her side and sat next to her,

"hey Ruby", tears went down my face and I gripped her hand,

"please live, I can't live without you", I sobbed into her arm and Niall wrapped his arms around me, I continued to cry when I felt a twitch,

"Ruby?", she twitched more,

"NIALL GET THE NURSE", he ran out and I stayed by Ruby's side, the doctors ran in and checked on her, finally Ruby opened her eyes, I burst into happy tears and hugged her,

"Jamila, Niall, is that you?", she asked weakly,

"yes!", I said excited, she smiles widely and hugged me, we both cried into eachothers arms and I kept telling her how much I missed her, this truely was the best day of my life yet!
