It excites me so much to announce, that I've decided to write a sequel to One sick love story!
Sequels to this kind of story aren't usually written, or are never really succssesful. But I've decided a persons story doesn't end after they die. There's still so much to learn about Darcy, and the ones who she left behind.
I've been gathering up ideas, and have finally settled on a good storyline.
I understand if people aren't going to be interested because the main character is now dead, but it doesn't mean it can't be an interesting story.
I want to write this sequel because I want to emphasise how the world continues to spin, even when we loose a loved one.Luke and his mother have to learn to live without a father, and now a beloved daughter and sister. Fellow cancer patients have to continue fighting.
And of course Ben has to learn to love again.I've been very amazed by how many reads this book has actually received, considering how poorly written it actually is. But I was a lot younger when I wrote this, and I've gained a lot more knowledge, not only in cancer, but also in writing, since then.
Even if only 10 people enjoy reading the sequel, then that's enough for me, just knowing atleast a few people have taken something out of reading my story then it's definitly worth writing.I will be posting the prologue for Don't wait for me, very soon. So keep an eye out for it.
If you enjoy reading about Darcys story, as much as I did writing it, then you'll definitly enjoy the next chapter to her life and the mark she left on this planet...
