Genji opted to take you for a walk around Akamori Park. It wasn't until you were heading back that much happened, however. The sun was setting and the moon was starting to make an appearance. Genji insisted on walking you home because it was too dangerous alone at night.
"You know, should come to my family's house. Stay the night. I promise it's not far, and then we can continue to visit the tourist attractions in the morning," he offered.
You knew he was up to something but considered it anyways. It would be a way for you to check up on the household, see if Reiko was still around.
"Yeah, I guess that's okay. Are you sure your family wouldn't mind?"
"Positive," he reassured.
You walked in silence, moving towards the end of the path. You quickly realized how much you missed Genji and his antics, even if he wasn't the same now. Surely it wouldn't hurt if you lightened up a bit?
"Sorry for being so rude back there, I'm not exactly the trusting type."
"I understand," he smiled, "Here, follow me, I know a short cut."
He took your hand in his and began leading you off the path. You hesitated as the woods became more and more dense.
"Shimada-san, I don't like this, maybe I should just go back to my hotel."
"There's nothing to worry about, we're almost there."
Images flashed past your eyes, the dark, storm covered sky, the thud of the arrow piercing your chest before you fell past so many trees.
You were ashamed to admit you started crying. You pulled your hand away and stopped following, looking at from him and trying to curb back your tears.
"I can't, Shimada-san."
How could a cold-hearted agent such as yourself fall apart so easily? What was it that made you break down? Was it Hanamura? Genji? Just the setting that brought back horrible memories?
Your eyes were pressed tightly together, the salt-water tears breaking through your barriers. You stilled as you felt a thumb brush the droplets from your cheek. You looked up into the tender eyes of the boy you once knew.
"It's okay, I'm here," he hushed you, bringing you into his arms. He made a light kiss to your forehead. "Close your eyes, I won't let anything bad happen to you."
You did what was asked of you and felt his hand slip into yours again before tugging you along. Without seeing anything the world felt much calmer, like you were out on one of your runs or something. Soon you felt
gravel beneath your feet and opened your eyes. You were standing in a garden, the Sakura trees whispering above you. You fought down the memories that took place here. You felt a kiss on your hand and looked towards Genji. "Are you alright?" He asked. You nodded slightly and brushed the tear tracks away. You felt him pull you closer. You looked up at him and placed your hands on his chest. Was it okay to be so vulnerable?
He pressed a kiss to the edge of your lips, one arm snagging around you waist and the other cupping your cheek.
"You are so beautiful," he breathed. You shook your head and pressed your lips against his. Don't talk. He seemed to catch the hint and tightened his grip around you. His thumb pulled at the edge of your lip, forcing them to open slightly. He took the opportunity to snake his tongue past your teeth and the kiss became heated. He guided you up the stairs and to his room, still peppering your skin with kisses. Once inside his room he let out a low growl and pressed you against the wall. His lips traced up and down you neck, igniting a warmth inside. You yelped as he nipped the skin on your collarbone before licking it over. Good thing your body suit reached up your neck.
His lips traced over your scar and you fought to stay calm. He returned to yours before moving to nibble on your earlobe. You whimpered at his sensual assault and turned your head to the side, offering your neck further to him. He smirked against your skin.
"Jump." You did as you were told and he lifted you by your thighs, his hands moving back to support your bottom. You were nervous, never having been in such a situation before.
"Do you trust me?"
Of course. You've known this man your entire life. You knew his habits, his schedule, his training, you knew everything about him. You knew you shouldn't, but just for that night you let yourself trust.
"Yes."
He slowly carried you the short distance across his room and onto his bed, keeping you occupied with peppered kisses across your exposed skin. Laying you down across his smooth sheets, he pulled your shirt over your head, admiring your choice of bra before reaching behind you to remove it. His eyes roamed your flushed face down to your chest. His hands quickly followed and left a chilling sensation over each part they touched.
You surrendered.
