Brie's pov

Being here with Reese felt so right, but I was still scared.

"Reese, I want to take this slow."

"Good I agree. We don't have to rush into anything."

I should have known Reese wouldn't pressure me into anything.

He was a good man.

"So, what do we do now?"

"I would love to take my beautiful girlfriend out for a walk, and see the sights."

This made me a little nervous.

What if someone we knew saw us?

Yes, we were far from home, but it could happen.

"What if someone sees us?"

"Beautiful there is no one around and we will be careful."

I trusted Reese so I had to believe this would be ok.

"Ok let's go."

He grabbed my hand and we walked outside.

It felt so right to be with him.

We both loved reading, and owned many of the same books.

We had such amazing chemistry.

"Being here with you like this is pretty amazing."

"I'm really glad you brought me here."

"I wish we didn't have to leave."

That would be amazing.

Just stay here in our own little bubble.

Nothing to worry about.

"That would be nice."

We walked around the lake and it couldn't be more perfect.

"Sadly, we both have a job and you have school to get back to."

"Yea sadly the time we have here will go by way to fast."

We decided to stop and grab some dessert and head back to the room.

We laughed and it was if we were just a normal couple enjoying a first date.

It felt as if nothing could go wrong.

I was happy.

Sadly, this couldn't last forever.

Could it?

Sooner or later someone was going to see us.

For now, I wouldn't worry about that.

I was with Reese and we were happy.

I just needed to focus on that.

Little did I know in that moment that the end would come sooner than I thought.
