Brie's pov

When we got back home Reese dropped me off and he seemed distant.

I wondered what was wrong.

We had such a great time at the bed and breakfast we went to.

So much fun that I gave myself to him completely.

Now I am left wondering if I made a huge mistake.

I figured maybe he was just tired and leery because we were back in town where anyone could see us.

I went straight to my room and crashed.

There is nothing like sleeping in your own bed.

I woke up and looked at the time.

How had I slept the whole night?

I looked at my phone and saw I had a missed voicemail from Reese.

"Hey Brie look this weekend was fun, but it made me realize things between us can never work. I'm sorry but we can't be together anymore. I got you assigned to another teacher for English and she needed a TA so it works out for the best. I'm sorry I took advantage of you. This is the last time you will hear from me. Please honor my wishes and stay away."

I couldn't hold back my tears from falling.

Was he serious?

He had no problem sleeping with me, but now he can't be with me?

How dare he.

Then to mess with my schooling like he did.

I was beyond p*ssed and hurt.

Was this all just some game to him?

Did I mean nothing to him?

I was so confused.

How did everything go so wrong?

We talked about a future together.

Was that all a lie?

There was no way I could ever see him again.

Yet, the thought of being in someone else's class bothered me.

I loved how Reese taught his class.

I enjoyed the students in that class.

Now it's all gone.

He took it all away from me without even giving me a choice.

Right now, I truly hated him.
