Brie's pov

I woke up and rolled over only to find a note instead of Reese.

He said he was out getting breakfast for us and would be back soon.

I was glad he left the note.

It was very thoughtful.

After our talk last night maybe, he realized how much he had hurt me before.

If he kept taking my feelings into consideration we just might work.

I decided to lay in bed a little longer.

I must have fallen asleep because the next thing I know I was being woken up with a kiss.

I looked up and saw Reese smiling down at me.

"Hey sleepy head." He said.

"Hey sorry must have fallen back to sleep."

"Did you get my note?"

"Yes, I did thank you for that."

"It's no problem beautiful. I got breakfast ready for you on the table."

I got up and walked out into the kitchen.

I saw all my favorite things all spread out on the counter.

He was so thoughtful.

I smiled up at him then kissed him before setting down to eat.

"This all looks so yummy."

"Well eat up because we have a busy day planned."

"We do?"

"Yes, I am taking my girl out for the day."

I smiled because I loved being called his girl.

I think it's time I let go of the past and enjoy what we have now.

He has really changed.

I liked the new and improved Reese.

I couldn't wait to see what he had planned for us today.
