Noah's POV
Today is the first day back to school since Christmas break and I'm super excited to see my friends. I just got to Spanish class and was waiting for Sean and Easton to get here so I would have someone to talk to.
"Hey Noah! How was Aruba?" Easton asks sitting next to me.
"Awesome" I smile and Sean comes in a few minutes later.
My teacher was about to start class when Mr. Polk came through the door, a girl following behind him.
"Mrs. Lloyd, this is our new student Avery Parks." He told the teacher.
I looked over at the girl and she was gorgeous, she had dark brown hair and deep brown eyes. Even in the ugly school uniform, she was the most beautiful girl I have ever seen.
"Noah, you're staring" Sean nudged me. I snapped out of my trance and looked over at him, blushing.
"Avery you can go sit next to Noah. Noah raise your hand please" Mrs. Lloyd said. I slowly raised my hand and Avery made her way over to the seat next to me.
"Hi, I'm Noah" I said to her and smiled. She smiled back and me and sat down.
"Hi."
"Okay everyone, I'm going to finish up the individual assessments so please be good" Mrs. Lloyd said and headed out into the hallway.
"So, Avery. Where are you from?" I ask.
"I'm from Arizona, I moved here because of my dad's job" She explained.
We talked for a while longer and found out we had half of our classes together. We don't have our next class together but we have most of them.
"Um so where is Mr. Linton's class?" She asks as we step into the hallway.
"Down that hall and to the right I think" I tell her.
"Thank you Noah!" She beams and heads down the hall.

I walked into the lunchroom and sat down at my table with my friends from soccer. Our soccer season is over though and baseball workouts start in two weeks.
"Noah, behind you." Easton motions with his eyes. I turn around and see Avery walking around.
"Avery!" I yell, her head snaps up to look at me, she smiles and walks over.
"Need a place to sit?" I ask, she shyly nods and I scoot over so she is sitting next to me.
"How you liking it here?" I ask her.
"It's okay I guess, people are nice but the girls seem kinda preppy and stuck up." She giggles.
"You're probably referring to Hailey, Delaney, and Quinn." Sean says.
"I think those are there names." She says.
We talked for all of lunch, she is awesome. She is a gymnast and has two older sisters. When lunch was over we headed to gym and I showed her to the locker rooms. When I went into my locker room I checked my phone quickly. I had a text from Jackson,
Jax 😈- remember you are going home with the twins after school. Baylor and I will be home by 4:30. Love you
I responded him saying okay and then got dressed for gym. We played basketball which I'm not really good at but it was fun.
I only had two classes left and those flew by, Avery and I walked out of school together since we had our last class together.
"Thanks for being so nice today Noah. You didn't have to do that" She tells me.
"Well you caught my attention so" I blush.
"Text me." She says and grabs my phone, putting her number in my phone and running off.
"Ooooohhhh. Noah has a girlfriend." I hear a voice tease. I turn around and see the twins laughing.
"Stop, please. She's just my friend." I pout and punch their arms.
"We're just messing with you. Let's go home" Caleb says.
I've gotten pretty good at telling them apart, it's harder when they are both wearing school uniforms, but Caleb has darker hair and they talk very differently.
We got into their car, a Range Rover and headed home.
"So, what do you do when you get home normally?" Aaron asks.
"Eat a snack, and then Jackson makes me do my homework." I sigh.
"Okay, what do you want to eat?"
I shrugged and pulled out my binder, getting started on my math homework.
"Here" Caleb places a plate of orange slices in front of me.
"Thank you." I smile.
"Okay, I'm going to run on the treadmill." Aaron disappears.
"You good here?" Caleb asks me. I nod and he goes upstairs. I finished up my oranges and attempted my math homework, but I just couldn't figure it out. I was beginning to get really frustrated, so I gave up and went to watch tv on the couch.
I didn't want to ask one of the twins for help cause they would think I'm stupid.
"You sure finished your homework fast." Aaron says, still out of breath from his run.
"Um... yeah." I lied. I know I'm an awful liar, and Aaron saw right through me. He grabbed the remote and turned off the tv.
"Hey! Turn it back on!" I whined.
"Hey! Finish your homework" He mocked me.
"I don't know how" I said in a quiet voice. He sighed and went into the kitchen, I followed behind.
"What are you learning?" He asked.
"Radicals and square roots, but I'm dumb and don't get it." I told him.
Aaron explained it to me and helped me finish my homework, a couple minutes later my brothers came through the door.
"Noah has something to tell you guys!" Caleb said, coming down the stairs.
"What! No I don't!" I protested, I didn't know what he was talking about.
"Yeah, you're girlfriend" Aaron chimed in.
"What? I left them incharge for 3 hours and you got a girlfriend?" Jackson laughed.
I was going to tell my brothers about Avery but I thought they would laugh, and now Caleb and Aaron ratted me out.
"She's not my girlfriend!" I yelled.
"She gave you her phone number" Aaron laughed.
"Shut up!!"
They were all laughing at me, and I was super embarrassed. I felt like I was about to cry, but I tried to hide it.
"Noah, we're just messing with you." Baylor told me.
"It's not funny though, I like her. And I don't want it to be ruined by you guys" I slumped into the couch.
"Okay, we will stop, now tell me about this girl. What's her name?" Jackson said, sitting down next to me.
"Avery"
