Noah's POV

Today is Jackson and Noah's first hockey game. It's at 7 which means that they have to go at 6, so Carson, Baylor's girlfriend is taking me and we are gonna watch the game together.

I just got home from school and put on a shirt with my school logo on it. I then grabbed Baylor's hockey sweatshirt that has our last name on the back of it.

"Noah! Come down here please!" I heard Jackson yell. I ran down the steps and jumped onto Baylor's lap on the couch. Just then I noticed that Carson was sitting next to him.

"We're leaving, but see you at the game" Baylor says getting up from the couch and pushing me off of him.

"Hey! What the heck!" I whine and stand up. He shrugs and they walk out of the door.

"Wanna get some dinner before the game?" She asks, I nod and we head to her car.

We decided on getting some Mod Pizza and it was really good, then we headed to the ice rink. We payed for our tickets and went to find seats. The team was already warming up so I saw Baylor and Jackson.

Jackson was number 43 and Baylor was 24. I have always really liked hockey and their games but I am awful at skating so I don't play.

"Carson, do you know about hockey?" I asked her as we took a seat in the front row.

"Um I know the basics but not really a whole lot about it" She told me, I nodded and pulled out my phone. Taking a Snapchat of the ice and putting it on my story.

After the first period it was 2-0 us, and I wasn't feeling very good, but I didn't want to tell Carson. I tried to ignore the pain in my stomach, but I was getting bad.

"Carson, I don't feel very good" I told her, but I guess she couldn't hear me over the cheers of the crowd, I looked up and our team had just scored.

Just then I felt my stomach lurch, I quickly stood up and ran over to the trash can, emptying my insides, luckily nobody but Carson noticed.

"Oh my god! Noah! Are you okay?" She asked, concern lacing her voice.

"No, I feel horrible" I told her and she pulled me into a hug.

"Do you wanna go home?" She asked me. I shook my head no.

"What do you want to do then?" She asked.

"I want Jackson" I say and a tear drops down my cheek.

"Well, he's busy, he can't leave" She says.

I was so overwhelmed. First of all, I feel awful. Also, I barely know Carson. I'm in a public place. And my brothers can't help me.

Carson grabbed our things and we walked to the other side of the ice, luckily it was in intermission so the boys were just sitting on the bench.

We walked over to the bench and Jackson and Baylor were sitting on the end, so we could talk to them.

"Hey guys!" Jackson said, taking off his helmet. He had a huge smile plastered on his face, but I quickly fell when he saw the tears streaming down my cheeks.

"Oh no! Why are there tears?" He asked.

"He got sick" Carson said.

"What?!"

"I threw up Jax" I choked out between tears. His face was full of concern and I could tell he was trying to decide what to do.

"Hold up" he said and walked over to his coach.

Jackson's POV

I could tell Noah was distraught, and I wanted to get him home.

"Coach?" I ask, and he turned around, I almost thought about abandoning the idea but decided to follow through with it.

"Um, my little brother just threw up and I was wondering if I could leave early to take him home. I know it's the first game but he's sick and I promise I will make up for it, you can bench me next game and I will condition extra" I said, all in one breath.

"Can't your parents take him home?" He asked, sighing.

"No"

"Excuse me?"

I realized I had said it very harshly.

"Sorry, but my dad is out of the country and my mom is dead so I'm kinda all he has" I explained and I heard Noah throw up again. Coach looked over my shoulder and then back at me.

"Fine, but you aren't playing next week and if anything like this happens again, you're done." He said.

"Thank you so much" I said and ran to the locker room. I came back out as quick as possible with just sweatpants and a shirt on.

"What the hell?" Baylor asked.

"Carson, can you bring Baylor home?" She nodded and went back to the stands.

"I had to" I said and picked up Noah.

I said goodbye and headed out to the car. I set Noah down in the back and he laid down.

"You okay?" I ask, rubbing his head, he shrugged his shoulders.

I jumped in the front seat and started the drive home, which was about 15 minutes. I was a bit worried about Noah puking in my car but luckily he fell asleep. I brought him to my room when we got home and he woke back up.

When Baylor came home he went straight to bed, but I didn't get to sleep at all. About every half hour Noah would throw up and he decided it was stupid to sleep for 30 minute periods. We stayed up all night watching movies and cleaning up puke. Hopefully it was just a one day bug because I could not deal with it for very long.
