Change of plans. I know it was going to be Asuna but I accidentally wrote it with Kirito so here you go!

Valerie was smirking. He might be the best swordsman in the army, but she was a pretty awesome archer if she did say so herself.

Kirito knew this, and already had both swords drawn. He was ready. She was ready. He was determined. She was confident. He charged. She stayed.

Pulling back her bow with five arrows in hand, she shot all five at Kirito, who sliced through them with his sword. By the time those arrows had gotten to him she had already fired off many more in quick succession, each aiming for a different part of Kirito. The legs head, arms stomach, chest, privates, heart, shoulders. Each one was blocked or sliced out of the air as best he could but one grazed past his shoulder opening up a cut on his upper arm. While he was still in shock, she shot three more arrows and charged him, knife in hand.

He dodged two arrows and sliced the other out of the air, just about managing to block the knife slash with his second sword. He pushed off with his swords causing Valerie to skid backwards. Her scraping feet kicked up dust and dirt creating a brown fog that was too thick to see through. Val crouched down with an arrow ready to fire. She saw a shadow and took aim. She fired. Once again, it scraped past his arm and sliced through the skin. He turned and threw his sword at her. She rolled to the side, barely dodging it. She charged and they engaged in a battle. That is, until Val finally won. She had hit the hilt of her knife viciously against Kirito's head, knocking him out.

"We have our winner! Now, Sam against Asuna!"

I literally wrote this chapter simply for the sake of recommending a book (series) to any book worms or otherwise who read this. The series is called 'seasons of the moon' and was written by 'SM Reine'. These books are bae. Seriously you should check them out sometime they are better than Harry Potter. They are better than Twilight. They are at least as good as Hunger Games. The author is just really unknown.
