The End

They were finally home. Home. After a reminded about his secret identity, the students - and Mr. Lancer - all went back home. Everything went back to normal. Well, except for a few things. Now, since his class knew his identity, he had the all clear to go ghost in class; this is if he had Mr. Lancer or the teacher wasn't looking. That made life much easier. He wasn't bullied properly anymore. He and Dash simply staged the little beatings he usually got from Dash so that no one got suspicious. It was... peaceful...

Danny certainly got more sleep now he wasn't running from his parents, and he even had his own ghost weapons now! Not only that, but his parents had finally 'fixed' the BOO-merang and all the other devices that target him by giving them some of his DNA and programming it to ignore him. It felt weird not sneaking around behind their backs, getting so much support and training from them - not that Jack was a particularly good trainer. But Danny would miss the shouts of 'scum bag!' From the bathroom window. And the screeched 'Phantom menace!' he usually got when he rescued a ghost from his parent's clutches. Really, he missed them already.

Ding!

'Hey Danny, want to go to Nasty Burger?' - Sam

'But you're paying!' - Tucker

With a smile, he responded:

'You can pay for yourself Tuck... unless you want me to fly you into a hospital?' - Danny

'No! No! Anywhere but there!' - Tucker

'Wuss. I'll pay, my parents caught wind that you were the one that helped me get out safely so they're starting to accept you, gave me money to pay for all of our dinner's. - Sam

'Problem solved then, meet you there!' - Danny

Some things, however? Some things never change.

"Hey Danny, you going to eat that?"

"No, all yours."

"Tucker that's an animal your eating."

"And?"

"Other living being!"

"Guys don't argue."

He'd always have his closest friends.
