Hayley
“Nate? What are you doing here?” Hayley asked him as he walked across Lewis’ porch towards her.
“Oh, hi, Hi Hayley... I, um, I was helping Lewis with something.” Hayley wrinkled her brow and nodded her head.
“Aha, okay.” She smiled at him, He is so cute, what a sweetheart, just look at how nervous he is.
“You, you look stunning. Wow, Lewis is a, a real lucky guy.” Nate stammered.
“Aww, Thanks Nate, I really appreciate it.” Hayley said as she gave him a quick hug.
“I really have to go now, bye Hayley, enjoy your date.” Nate said as he twiddled his thumbs and trudged home.
Do I ring the bell or knock? Hayley thought to herself, she sucked in some air and pushed the doorbell button and took a few steps back on the porch.
“Coming.” She heard echo from upstairs. Her heart leaped from her chest as she saw Lewis open the door. He looked gorgeous.
“Hayley, you, you look breathtaking. I didn't think it was possible for a girl to look better than you did last time I saw you, but you pulled it off today.” At that, he leaned over and kissed her cheek. She thought her heart would explode from thumping so hard.
“Why thank you, you look very handsome yourself.” Hayley flashed him a sweet smile. Lewis took her hand and led her inside.
“Where are we going?” Hayley asked Lewis and before she could look around he grabbed her shoulders and spun her around to face him.
“I almost forgot!” Lewis grabbed a piece of black material off of the table in the entrance hall. What is he doing? She felt a little bit panicked.
“This is a surprise so no peeking.” He said as he tied it over her eyes, making sure she couldn’t see and kissed her neck softly, her body felt weak.
“Ooh a blindfold, you’re lucky I trust you.” Hayley said trying to sound sexy. She reached out to find Lewis. He grabbed her hands and closed his own around them.
“Come on, this way...” He led her by her hands towards the lounge and then let go of her hands.
“Lou, where are you? Don’t let go of me like that!” She exclaimed. He placed his hands on her hips and moved her forwards; her sense of direction was completely messed up. Hayley lifted her hand to caress Lewis’ cheek but instead her fingertips brushed against the rough of his jaw, she felt him shudder a little. He sat her down slowly and carefully.
“Precious cargo.” He whispered into her ear. Hayley giggled softly to herself. “I’ll be right back, don’t move, okay?” he added. It’s not like I’ve got anywhere better to go, and plus, I can’t see a thing! She thought to herself. Hayley heard Lewis return and sit down next to her. Slowly, he ran his fingers around her chain on her neck and untied the blindfold, his hands were warm and soft, barely touching her. Hayley opened her eyes and looked around her sceptically.
“Lewis, we’re in your loun...” he put a finger to her lips and said,
“We are at the movies, got the best seats in the house.” Hayley smiled at him.
“You are so cute.”
“I love you, Hayz.” She wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed his lips passionately and rested her head on his shoulder.
“Lou, I love you so much.” She whispered into his neck and kissed it gently. He wrapped his arms around her waist and cuddled into her.
“What movie are we watching? No, wait, let me guess... Is it an action movie?”
“No, it’s not an action movie.” His voice rumbled in his chest. Hayley sat up quickly and looked at Lewis in shock,
“It’s not an action movie?” Hayley repeated. Lewis shook his head. Hayley gave him a questioning look as if to ask “What are we watching then?”
“I heard you’re a sucker for romance,” he smiled daringly at her, “Since you were a little girl, you made me watch them with you every Friday night, do you remember that Hayz?” Hayley laughed off the memories.
“So, I’ve decided on The Notebook.”
“Ohmigosh!” Hayley exclaimed, “I’ve heard it’s a real tear jerker.”
“Well then, shall we?” Lewis asked as he got comfortable and pulled her close, slipping his arm around her shoulders.
“Ooh, the ‘Move’ and the movie hasn’t even begun.” Hayley teased. Lewis gave Hayley a deep growl and kissed her on the forehead.
“Comfy?” he asked as he pulled her snugly into his arms.
“Mmmhm.” She said softly.
“This feels so right.” He whispered into her ear. Throughout the entire movie Lewis held her hand and occasionally kissed her as if they were really in the movie theatre. Rachel McAdams stars as privileged Southern Belle, Allie Hamilton. Allie pays a visit to Seabrook in Northern Carolina to see her family and while she’s there, Noah Calhoun (Ryan Gosling) works his 'small-town boy' charms on her. Despite different backgrounds, the two find that they’ve got a lot in common, including a passion for life - and their need to drive each other crazy. Over the span of a hot summer, Allie and Noah fall passionately in love. Lewis leaned over and whispered to her,
“Rachel has nothing on you; God was showing off when He created you.” She felt her cheeks blaze red. By then end of it Hayley had cried her eyes out and laughed at all the cute things Noah had said, she thought about how all the girls had wished that they could find a love like Noah and Allie’s.
“I’ve found something so much better.” She said and kissed Lewis sweetly.
“How did a guy like me, end up with a princess like you?” he replied. She gave him a playful shove which led to them wrestling on the couch and landing on the floor, her on top of him, hair hanging in her face, breathing heavily. As he caught his breath he tucked her loose strands behind her shoulder and smoothed his thumb over her cheek.
“Are you alright?” Hayley just nodded. He rolled over and pinned her to the floor, kissed her quickly and then hauled her to her feet.
“Hungry?”
“Very.” Hayley replied.
