Chapter XX

They were all gathered around the table, the vampires drinking their blood packages while Youngjae was eating a huge bowl of rice with a lot of sidedishes prepared by Jinyoung. Bambam didn't know how to broach the subject and seemed nervous. Jackson didn't really know what to do either.

" What's got into you guys?" Jaebum asked them. " You seem quite calm."

" I... Bambam began awkwardly. " I have something to say."

" We're listening." Mark said.

" It's nothing special but... I have a bad feeling. I feel like something's gonna happen. But I can't figure out what, it's so frustrating and upsetting."

Youngjae sighed and the first thing he thought about was that it would be his fault.

" If someone's ever coming for you it won't be your fault. ", Jinyoung stated to refute what he had read into Youngjae's mind; the latter looked up straightly towards him. " It will be the comers' fault. They will be the only culprits as they're the ones who want to harm you. It's not your fault."

Jaebum sighed as well. He didn't know how he could reassure Youngjae about it because evrything he had already tried wasn't helpful at all. The human still had this anxiety of harming the six vampires. The worse was that he wasn't talking about it and was keeping it all to himself. Jaebum was thankful towards Jinyoung in those moments, as he was really worrying about Youngjae.

The latter didn't say anything.

" As we don't know anything, let's just be careful." Jaebum commanded.

" Don't overwork yourself too much with it Bambam." Mark declared.

Youngjae seemed preoccupied but neither Jaebum nor Yugyeom knew to how to get him rid of it. They all headed to school, walking as a group. Youngjae was between Yugyeom and Jaebum who's hand he was holding, but seemed somewhere else, lost in thoughts. Jinyoung had noticed it and was tempted to go and search into the younger's mind but his reason told him not to do it because he also had the right to have a private life.

As for Jackson, he was quite worried about Bambam. He knew that into those moments, the younger would be feeling really down because of these bad feelings which wouldn't leave him alone until the problem was solved - or sometimes not - but this time Bambam was feeling way worse because he couldn't forsee anything and he was feeling totally useless.

They arrived at school and headed to their classroom. They sat down and waited for their teacher to come. The other students were quite noisy but they were calm. It was quite unusual as they used to be cheerful jokers and the others had noticed it pretty well even though they weren't saying anything. When the teacher arrived, he announced that there was going to be a new student into their class. The new student entered and was invited to introduce himself. Youngjae wasn't really paying attention until the young male announced his name. Youngjae straightly looked up towards him and was both surprised and happy. When the famous new student called Ahn Hyunwoo landed his eyes on Youngjae, he stopped through his sentence, intriguing all the class who had their eyes on him.

Each of them followed the new student's gaze and ended up staring at Youngjae who was also staring at Hyunwoo.

" Ch-Choi Youngjae?" Hyunwoo said, hesitating.

" Hyunwoo?"

Both males seemed to have forgotten that they were into a classroom, thus Hyunwoo proceeded in walking towards Youngjae who had stood up. Once being in front of Youngjae, the newcomer hugged him, in front of the whole class' flabbergasterd gaze, mostly from the human's six vampiric friends. Well... a vampiric prince in particular was feeling emotions other than being astonished. By the way, he didn't wait long before grabbing Hyunwoo by the collar, moving him away from Youngjae.
