Chapter XIX : Let's Have A Date
Danica's POV
Here we are sitting. No one dares to talk. Ang tahimik naming kumaing dalawa. I don't know what his problem is, but I got a little clue on what was it.
And base in what I see. Kanina pa siya seryoso at mukhang wala siyang balak kausapin ako. We're finished eating actually, pero ayoko paring tumayo. Tatayo lang ako dito pag kinausap niya ako. And right now, hindi pa niya ginagawa yun.
Ganyan na siya, simula ng makita namin si Peter babe. I tried holding his hand, pero inaalis niya rin. And I tried talking to him, but the conversation is ending so fast because he just answer a one liner statement.
Fine! I give up. I will eat my pride this time and be the first one to talk to him.
"Drei, I'm sorry. For whatever reason you are mad. I'm sorry. I really do. Even if I don't know what it is, but please could you please talk to me?" Yes, I may sound despirate but there/s nothing I can do. I need to do this if I want to be forgiven.
He just stared at me for a while.
"Who's that man." He emphasized the word man. So, I think I am right. Is he jealous? Or I'm just dreaming that he is?
"Wait, are you... are you... jealous?" My curiosity kills me. I want to know if he is.
"Answer my question first." Lagot, sinusumpong nanaman siya. It is like the first time I met him. Ganon siya kagalit ngayon.
"You already know the answer. He is my kuya's best friend."
If looks can kill. I maybe killed right now.
"Okay, maybe you are wondering why we two are close, right?" He just nod, so I continue. "He was like a brother to me. When my first boy friend broke up with me he just hit him. You know He cares for me like a brother. Yun lang yun. Please, so don't be angry or should I call... jealousy."
"Is it really only that?" He asked me looking right through my eyes.
"Yes."
"Then you have my trust. Let's go."
"Wait, you haven't answer my question yet." Sabi ko sa kanya. Kasi nakatayo na siya at ready ng umalis anytime.
"What was your question again?" He said while sitting again.
"Are you jealous?"
"What is it to you if I'm jealous?"
