Chapter 35.

Donald

"So this is where y'all come to smoke and stuff?" I take a light drag of the blunt that's being passed around in rotation. I gaze around me as we're huddled up in this abandoned little house by McDonald's out their way. It has two rooms only being the living room and a bedroom. The floors smell like cat piss and the couches don't look too hygienic themselves. I sit uncomfortablely, sniffling a bit with the smell starting to affect my eyes and allergies due to the fact I haven't smoked in awhile. I wanted to stop because of personal reasons, but now I need something to take my mind off of things.

"Yup, every now and then at least. Can't do it at our house since our folks be popping up and shit." Cedric shrugs his shoulders leaning his head against the thin walls of the house.

"Well, it is their house." JoJo points out matter of factly.

"So? Can't a nigga get some peace sometimes though? I know they want to go on vacation or something, damn. Just leave so we can do whatever we want." He complains exhaling the smoke resulting in O's forming in the air. He did the French shit with his mouth. That was cool as hell.

My eyes avert to the middle of my hand after he passed it to me. I watch the smoke at the end of the paper burn slowly, waiting for me to consume it, begging for me. My hand shakes rapidly as it gets closer to my mouth again, ready to take over my body. I open my mouth a little, squeezing it between my lips. Everything around me goes silent and all I see is the blunt. My lips press together slowly, inhaling it. The air brushes past my throat down into my lungs, with another doze of air coming out of mouth. Swirls of the gray air pace out swiftly.

We really haven't been doing shit with ourselves musically being that every time we get together, we end up doing stupid shit. First we'd be coming up with melodies, then next thing you know one of them niggas either fighting, smoking, eating, or harassing some girl because they can't get none. Sometimes I get tired of the cycle because I want to take this music thing serious, but we're kids. Kids do what kids do.

"Damn, is Dalvin done?" JoJo complains. "I want my round two man."

"Man, I bet he ain't even do nothing with the girl." Cedric complains taking a huge puff, blowing it everywhere. I wave it out the way, looking back at the closed door, wondering what was going on. "Man, leave my little brother alone. He'll lose his virginity when he wants to. He got it. I know he does."

"Man, I can't until we get big.. I'm tired of fucking with these girls." Changing the subject, JoJo complains. "They're so fucking annoying."

"I mean, they the only ones that want us right now so why you complaining? Nobody else wants us. Don't act like y'all don't like these snow bunnies." Cedric rolls his eyes at us, tapping his fingers against his leg.

"The only reason I like them is because they're easy to access. I mean they're cute and all, but the ones around Charlotte are annoying.. Maybe they good somewhere else when we leave."

Suddenly the door busts open with the female we saw at McDonald's in full clothing with her hair now slightly wild. She's a Caucasian girl with long brown all the way down to her back. She had a fairly nice shape and nice titties that you could work with. JoJo and Cedric both scream creating high pitch sounds that echoes throughout the room.

"Told you your little brother won't gon' do shit! Look at the look on her face." Cedric slaps both of his knees as he bursts into fists of laughter. JoJo laughs along with him gently shaking his head.

"Shut the fuck up." Dalvin says brushing them off. "She actually gave me head, so ha!" Dalvin jumps at Cedric as he zips up his pants. The Hailey brothers both squint their eyes at them with a frown upon their face. "Nigga, people get head all the time. You act like that's something to brag about. You obviously didn't do anything to blow her mind. Instead she blew yours and doesn't seem too happy about it."
