Chapter 11
[Aidan's POV]
To make it clear, we are not gay! We just love baking!
Anyway, while preparing for our bake off or whatever you call it, may nilabas si Tony na isang red velvet box mula sa isang cabinet.
"Dude, look at this," binuksan niya yung maliit na box. It revealed a ring with a diamond at the center with small sparkling diamonds around it. "Do you think Marty will like it?" he asked with a hopeful voice.
I can only imagine how much that ring would cost. I think its roughly half-a-million pesos.
"I'm sure she will like it," I replied. Ngumiti naman si Tony. Those genuine smiles are rare. Madalas kasi siyang nakasimangot.
"But how did you get the money to buy that?" I paused. "Did you asked dad for money?" Its a bit of a long story but the bottomline is hindi magkasundo si dad and Tony ever since pinili ni Tony na sumama kay mom nung nagdivorce ang parents namin. And according to dad, tinanggalan na rin niya ng mana si Tony. Peace na kaya ang dalawang ito?
"Di pa kami magkasundo," his face became dark.
"Let's just say I took on jobs... a lot of them..." sagot niya. The brightness returned to his face. Ngumingiti na siya. "Bukas na ako magpo-propose kay Marty," he informed.
"I'm sure she'll say 'yes'," sabi ko.
"I sure hope so," sagot niya.
"Let's get baking?," I asked. He nodded.
Tony talaga! Kung anu-ano pumapasok sa isip.
"Nahanap ko na siya, dude,"
"Huh?"
"Basta! When I meet her again, papakilala ko sa inyo ni Marty!"

Fast forward to where I was invited by Jenny (mutual friend namin ni Kris, who is Maki's bestfriend) to her newly opened club.
Parehong womanizer. Ako naman, inaamin kong flirt ako dati. Pero I never two-timed on my previous girlfriends. They never lasted for a month anyway. At mabilis palitan since ang dami namang girls diyan.
We went inside the club. The place was swarming with people. Most girls, di pala most, all the girls were wearing dresses too short for decency and plunging necklines that scream 'hit on me'. And they reeked of alcohol and cigarette smoke.
Sorry pero kahit flirt ako and my girlfriends never lasted for a month, I prefer girls to dress with class and decency. I was raised by a conservative family and I expect girls to have at least an ounce of respect and decency at least where cloths are concerned.
I managed to convince my friends to go where there are few people. Pero mukhang nag-eenjoy yung dalawa, kaya I quietly left. -___-
