"How about we go to the bakery?" Katniss suggests
"Well if you want to" I told her
"Yeah, I like watching you work, and we'll probably not see anyone there."
"If you want you can help" I suggested
"I can try" she replied with a smile on her face
We headed down to the bakery, I had my arm around her, everything felt perfect, we got to the bakery and said our greetings to Mollie and Charlie.
I took Katniss by the hand to the frosting station and showed her how to frost, I gave her a small cupcake to practice with, she was getting it done, but very slowly. It was starting to frustrate Katniss, the frosting wasn't coming out of the nozzle.
"Here" I said interlocking my fingers with hers and helping her squeeze the frosting onto the cake, it looked quite nice actually
"For you" she said handing me the cake
"Thank you" I said, slowly eating it.
"Wanna go home?" She asked "I mean I wouldn't mind having a shower, with my special someone" she whispered
"Okay then" I said with a wink.
We walked home, slightly faster than usual.
I unlocked the door as we went inside.
"Maybe we could do something else" Katniss suggests
"Aww, I was really looking forward to the shower" I complained
"Well, if you don't want to make use of our bed we could shower, but, I was kinda hoping you'd be just as good second time around" she replied
"In that case. . ." I said grabbing her hand and racing up the stairs with her
We practically fell onto the bed, Katniss on top of me.
Her fingers fumbled to unbutton my shirt, as I quickly and swiftly pulled hers over her head.
My lips pressed onto her with quite a bit of force
Before I knew it our clothes were in a crumpled heap on the floor as Katniss traced patterns on my chest with her fingers, I decided to flip things round. . . (Literally) and flipped her over onto her back so I was on top of her.
Her legs wrapped around my waist, giving me easy access, and I didn't let the chance go by.
I quickly slipped inside her, Katniss groaned,
"I love you Peeta" she whispered.
"I love you too, forever and always"
And then the fun began
It's difficult to say how long it lasted as I couldn't see the clock from where I was, lying on the bed, with Katniss on top of me, both of us gasping for breath.
That was fun, and exhilarating.
She's amazing. I'm so glad she's mine.
"That was great" Katniss whispered after she got her breath back
"It's really was" I replied, after getting mine back
"I bet you couldn't do that again. Right now"
"Well Katniss. That's where you're wrong."
She rolled off me and onto the bed, I sat up.
"Well then, what are you waiting for?" She asked, pulling me on top of her
"Nothing now" I whispered, just before she pressed her lips to mine.
Sex was fun and fast, however over too quickly, both of us were covered in sweat, but I didn't mind, I was happy, and I enjoyed this.
I turned to Katniss, who lay curled up beside me
"Y'know, I really love you" I whispered
"I love you too" she mumbled "Forever and Always"
