Update ulit beshies! I'm happy that most of you seem to enjoy the new story :) Here's the first meeting up close, and get an idea how it will be for them the rest of the chapters ahead.
I've also given a peg for characters Cassie and Kayla, to give you an idea what these two look like. It's always fun selecting a peg for my characters, and it's a pleasure when I seem to hit gold with the matching of the character and the person I pegged them for.

Mancom meetings were held in the board room every Monday. It was a meeting for Managers handling the different divisions of Phoenix Land's operations, presided by the Executive Vice President. A total of fifteen managers attended this meeting, which usually takes all day.
Maine walked into the board room and took a seat near the door. Some of the managers were already in the room, mostly talking with each other. Some of them she already knew and chatted with for a bit.
In a short while, Cassie and Alden walked Maine took note that Alden changed into a white shirt for the meeting, looking like he was fresh from a shower. She pretended not to notice him while he discussed something with Cassie, a few feet away from her. They separated shortly and Alden already went to his seat which was across Maine's in the u-shaped formation of the conference table

Cassie is the Advertising Manager and one likely to work with Maine most often, given their scope of work. His real name is Casimiro, and of course, he hates it. He was the first person to befriend Alden in Phoenix Land, also the most defensive whenever people hit on his friend. Alden is closest to him. Their first picture together started rumors that Alden was gay.

"Hi Maine, first mancom mo 'to, no? Kilala mo na ba mga managers?"
"Hi Cass, yes, I know some of them. Pero meron pa rin akong hindi kilala."
"They're all ok naman, makukulit lang."
