Hi there, I bet you thought wala ng update, hahaha. I was so caught up in the research before I knew it, late na pala. So here it is, the continuation to this morning's update.
Now.....like I promised, there's something special in this chapter so I will not publish the Lush chapter yet. Guys, I swear, you have to read this first. Sayang yung build-up because some of you read Lush before coming here. So I'm going to delay the other chapter muna, ok? Once you read this, you will know why :)

The plane touched down at 2:30 in the afternoon. They took a cab to Nostalgia Hotel in Tiong Bahru district. Maine loved the hotel's boutique feel, and the fact that it was not a usual touristy spot made it doubly appealing.

"It's one of the architectural designs I have always admired. A mix of the old and new. I'll take you around the neighborhood, you will like it here. Orchard is kind of overrated compared to this place. That is, if you like artsy stuff and I know you do."
She pinched both of his cheeks. "You know me so well."
They took a nap to rest, Maine woke up alone, wondering where Alden might be. She took a shower, dressed carefully, in anticipation of meeting Alden's parents for dinner in their house later. She was finished getting ready when he arrived. She didn't know that he already went to his parent's place, which was a few minutes away from their hotel.
"Hi baby, where were you? Woke up alone."
He kissed her, his mouth erasing the pout on her lips.
"I took a quick visit to my parents' place."
"Ha? But I thought we'd go together."
"We will. But not tonight. They wanted to prepare a special dinner for us and asked to be given time."
"Oh."
"Yes. Oh." He kissed her soundly again. "You're mine tonight, Maine. We'll have dinner in a really nice place. Just give me time to shower, ok?"
