Hello beshies, back to work na today :(  But it will be just a 3-day work week so yay pa rin! I'm in an inspired mode because Mixed Signals is doing really well, and I am happy that you all like the story.

I think by now I have eased apprehensions of some of the readers when I initially released a survey for this story. You all know me well enough by now to know that I would never create characters for Alden and Maine that would leave something negative. The characters are not perfect maybe, but still good role models.

On this chapter, I hope you enjoy the budding closeness between our protagonists. Slowly but surely, they are getting to know each other, and they like what they see and discover. So have fun with this guys, will try to post another update tonight, ok? Have a great day :)

Maine was feeling the onset of a migraine coming. The day was turning into a disaster and she just wanted to go home. It was a good thing Cassie was with her, and the ad agency team arrived early. They were now at the project site, shooting the video and stills to be used for marketing collaterals of one of the slower moving projects.

"Cass, anong sabi nina Poch? Wala pa ba yung talents nila? Buong pamilya yung kailangan natin, it's already eight o'clock. Call time was seven, dadating pa ba yan?"

"Relax lang Maine, I already have a back-up plan. Just in case hindi dumating, may solution na ko."

"Just in case hindi dumating??? May possibility na no show yung talents? FUCK."

"Relax sabi eh.

Kilala mo ba yan?"

"Oo naman, I'm sure papasa sayo 'to.

She was a bundle of nerves. Her first major project with the company should launch successfully, no room for mistakes. Yet, here she is now, with a complete production setup and team, but no talents. The agency they got said the family had a sick child and had to cancel at the last minute. Lesson learned, she would never again get a whole family as talents, better to get separate talents than hire a whole family.

"Cass! Thank you bes, grabe ang galing mo. Sino nagdala niyan dito?"

"Yung leading man mo! Makikita mo mamya nag-aayos na rin siya. Go get dressed. Hintayin kita sa baba."

She got into one of the bedrooms of the model unit to get dressed. Cassie was right, the clothes were a perfect fit on her. She surveyed herself in the mirror and was happy with how she looked. She went down to see who Cassie was able to pull in last-minute. They needed two kids and a father to complete the family.
