Good morning my loves! I hope you are all resting and enjoying the long weekend.

We're now on the threshold of Alden's big move to bare his soul. He will be revealing himself to Maine, little by little, and there's fear of rejection, just the way Maine felt when he tried to stay away.

I read somewhere that what a person feels are never wrong, because it just comes and cannot be controlled. When you're sad, you're sad, that's it. So when a person feels something as a result of your action, you can't tell a person (s)he's wrong to feel that way.  You can't invalidate a person's feelings just because they misinterpreted something you said or did.

So the next time you get into a discussion with a loved one over feelings, try a little empathy. It goes a long way in resolving whatever issues you have.

Enjoy reading my dears :)

They went on separate cars to their meeting with the interior designer, Cathy Smith, at the Wilcon Depot in Libis. Cathy was already waiting for them in the coffee shop, looking through her fabric swatches while jotting notes down on her notebook.

Maine liked Cathy because she was very creative, she understood their project's need really well, and was flexible with budgets. The only thing she didn't like was that Cathy was so pretty while being so nice, and Alden seems to give her special treatment.

Alden arrived before Maine did, she saw him moving towards Cathy, and they kissed each other on the cheek. It's funny how he can be so aloof with her yet touchy-feely with Cathy. She observed them for a few minutes, watching how he ordered coffee and a slice of cake for Cathy, how, like a dutiful boyfriend, he asked for water to be served for her and got the napkin holder from the other table so that she could wipe her mouth after drinking water. They started looking at images on her laptop as Maine walked in.

She approached them and envied their easy banter, so unlike the awkwardness between the two of them

"Hi Cathy, Alden. "
