Hi guys,  just wanted to ask, did you get to read Chapter 32? Someone complained about not being able to open it. Does anyone else have this problem also? I will publish it again if necessary. Last night, it didn't show up in my notifs, I had to send a message to all my followers that it was up already. But for those who don't follow me, they probably missed the update :(

Anyway, this is just a short update, I will have another update tonight. Hoping I also get to update twice tomorrow. Feels good to be in touch with you all despite my absence on Twitter, thank you for the continuing support. I miss the fangirling but it's a small price to pay for peace of mind. I can support MaiChard in my own way like this instead.

Hope this Chapter will keep you excited for the next one (if you know what I mean).  There's a hint at the bottom on what to expect for tonight. Have a great weekend my dears :)

That night that Janine made her presence felt was a Thursday, and next day was actually a holiday. Alden wanted to shield Maine from Janine, even though he wasn't sure it was really her that brushed her body against him. What tipped him off were the wayfarers she wore despite it being evening. Who would wear shades at night? Why was she wearing shades yet making her presence felt? She was creeping him out. He suddenly had an idea.

"Maine, I know that this is sudden, but how 'bout we travel tomorrow?"

"Maine, I know that this is sudden, but how 'bout we travel tomorrow?"

"Huh? Travel to where?"

"Singapore. Let's surprise my parents. I've been wanting to introduce you to them."

"Will I be a good surprise to them? What if they don't like me?"

"I've been telling them about you already and I know they will like you. You don't have plans naman, right?"

"No........but, why the sudden urge to leave? Is something wrong?"

"What? N-no. I just miss my parents. Or do you want to go to Davao so we can meet yours?"

"Meet the parents talaga ha? Next thing I know you'll be proposing to me, hahahaha."

"That's not a bad idea, is it?"

She suddenly got serious after hearing his voice. He wasn't joking and she didn't want him to think she was making this a laughing matter.

"Can you please pull over?"

"Why?"

"Just do it please."

He veered towards the rightmost lane and found a gas station to pull over. His face was solemn, as though many thoughts were going through is mind. She pulled his hand and kissed his palm.

"Maine.......I'd marry you tomorrow if I could."

"And I'd do the same, Alden. I love you. You changed my life in the best way possible. But all this talk about meeting the parents and getting married is sudden. I feel something triggered it."
