Two weeks. It took two weeks for Taekwoon to fall in love with the coffee in the cafe. And to develop a not-so-secret crush on the barista working there.
His name was Kim Wonshik. But he preferred people calling him Ravi. He was the head barista and made the coffee most of the time. A tall male with a lean body and blonde hair that fell to one side messily.
The person who ran the coffee shop was a tanned male named Hakyeon, who was a good friend of Taekwoon's.
"You're staring." Hakyeon sighed, nudging Taekwoon.
"I am?..." Taekwoon asked, blinking his eyes innocently.
"Stop playing dumb, Taekwoon. I can see that you're practically burning holes into Wonshik's head." Hakyeon smirked.
Taekwoon glared at his best friend. He had no idea how he befriended such a idiot.
He continued watching Wonshik when another male came next to him. Ken.
To be honest, Taekwoon is plain jealous of Ken and his interactions with Wonshik. The two seemed so close that even the staff workers have a ship name for them. The RaKen Duo.
They always blended in perfectly. And that was exactly what made Taekwoon jealous.
"Jaehwan hyung! Stop ruining the coffee~..." Wonshik laughed, trying to avoid Ken's attempt of ruining the drink.
They were laughing quite loudly, but since the café was now nearly empty no one minded.
Wonshik's laughs were like music to Taekwoon's ears. He loved listening to the younger laugh cheerily. He just sometimes wished that Wonshik would laugh like that for him.
Taekwoon turned around to face Hakyeon when a brown liquid splattered onto his shirt, soiling it completely.
The laughing stopped and the whole café froze. It was as if time stopped.
"Oh my goodness! I'm so sorry! I didn't mean too!.." The waitress apologized desperately, appearing as if she might cry.
"It's fine.." Taekwoon mumbled, holding the now ruined white shirt, the fabric wet and sticky.
"You can go get changed. I'll send someone to give you extra clothes." Hakyeon said, pointing to the washroom.
Taekwoon nodded and retreated to the washroom to peel of the sticky shirt.
He washed away the dried coffee on his face and proceeded to remove his shirt when there came a knock from the door.
"Yes?"
He door opened and in walked in the last person Taekwoon expected to see...
"Wonshik?"The said male was standing there awkwardly, holding a white hoodie.
"Um.... Hakyeon hyung said I should give this to you.." He said, holding out the clothing.
His face was practically a tomato as he tried to NOT stare at the shirtless older.
"Uh... Th-thanks..." Taekwoon stammered, accepting the clothing.
Wonshik nodded, a faint smile on his lips before taking his leave.
I am so gonna murder you alive, Cha Hakyeon...
Taekwoon cursed, pulling the hoodie over his head.
It smelled familiar and Taekwoon realized that it was apparently Wonshik's hoodie.
It smelled like sandalwood and a faint cologne. He breathed in and immediately regretted it.
His scent was addictive.
Slightly slapping his face to get his thoughts straight, he folded his now ruined shirt and left the washroom.
Taking his seat once again, he stared at his now cold coffee, the brown liquid reflecting his face.
"Uh... Hey.." A deep voice came and he looked up to find Wonshik staring at him.
"Uh... Yeah?" Taekwoon mumbled, his shy side making itself known.
"C-can I haveyournumber?!.." The sentence was so fast that Taekwoon thought that he was rapping.
He titled his head to the side, indicating that he didn't understand.
"I mean.. Like for... Stuff... Yeah.. Stuff.." Wonshik replied and immediately had that urge to slap his face for saying such a stupid excuse.
Taekwoon blinked. Once.
"S-sure..." He nodded and wrote his number on a piece of paper before handing it to Wonshik. His fingers slightly brushed up against Wonshik's and electricity zapped his body.
"Thanks. And, if you didn't mind, do you wanna hang out sometime?.." Wonshik asked hopefully.
His face was burning as he eyes directed itself to the floor.
"Yeah. I would like that.." Taekwoon smiled softly.
He wasn't planning on this happening, but maybe, for the first time in his existence, he'd have to thank Hakyeon for his stupid antics.
