Waking up at the crack of dawn was not pleasant for Wonshik and he was starting to question wether his school education was actually worth waking up at a time like this. It didn't help matters that it had been just a few days since he joined school and already the students picked on him. He just got adjusted to his old school and he was whisked away. Life hated him, Wonshik decided huffily.
The auburn haired male buried his face in the soft pillows to wallow himself in his own self pity party. Maybe if he squashed his face enough into the pillow he would die from oxygen deprivation and then skip school. Yeah that totally worked...
Wonshik groaned one more time loudly, enough to express his distaste and absolute hate (okay maybe not that much but let him be, he likes to be dramatic) and Mrs. Kim stood by the doorway, watching with an amused smile on her lips as her son tossed and turned in his little cozy burrito blanket.
"Come on, Wonshik. Up an at 'em.." She chided fondly, patting at the tuft of brown hair that was poking out of the duvet. Her son was so silly sometimes. But to be honest, that was a part that she loved about him.
"Ugh, Ommaaaa~..." Wonshik whined, obediently sitting up despite his protest, lips pulled into a rather adorable pout. The student groped for his glasses at the side table, slipping them on once he found them, his vision becoming more clearer than the blurry mess from before.
Wonshik's mother chuckled and ruffled Wonshik's bed head. She tugged away the duvet and ushered her son to the bathroom to freshen up before breakfast, Wonshik giving his mother a grumpy, yet loving, hug before proceeding with his morning tasks.
Just as she set down a plate of pancakes down on the table, Wonshik came stumbling down, clad in his school uniform, a white long sleeve shirt with a blue and red tie, a matching dark blue black blazer perched on his shoulders. His soft brown hair was ruffled messily, glasses perched on his nose. Black slacks and dress shoes finished his outfit.
"Aigoo, so handsome, Shik-ah..." Mrs. Kim cooed, fixing Wonshik's tie, pressing a chaste kiss to his cheek once she was done. She giggled at the mock disgusted face Wonshik pulled, features settling into a fond smile seconds after.
She ushered him to eat breakfast, fussing over the fact that he was too thin for her liking and that he should eat more. Wonshik watched his mom with an amused smile. Sometimes he found to believe that her mom is in her late forties, married and has two children.
"Omma...?" A sleepy voice was heard and Wonshik turned to find his little sister peering from the doorway, her little palms rubbing at her eyes sleepily.
"The princess has woken up!~.." Mrs. Kim cooed, scooping up the little child into her arms, blowing a raspberry against her cheek while fingers tickled her. The girl giggled loudly at the ticklish feeling, clumsily trying to push away her mom's sneaky hands.
"Oppa, save me!~.." WonJun squealed, squirming helplessly, her laughs echoing loudly.
Wonshik swallowed his last piece of pancake before swooping into to safe her, grabbing her and peppering wet kisses across her face, the girl giggling loudly.
"Now since the princess is rescued, Shik-ah has to head to school, sweetheart..." Mrs. Kim informed, watching the two siblings interact with each other. WonJun pouted as she was set down and automatically clung onto his pant leg.
