----------------------------------------------03:35pm..
Wonshik glanced at his watch, slowly feeling irritation creeping up on his veins.
Four hours. Taekwoon hadn't still made an appearance for Four. Bloody. Hours.
He's been sitting at the cafe from 12:30 and to say that his limbs were now numb from sitting in the same posture for so long would be an understatement.
Taekwoon had said that he'll meet up with Wonshik to discuss song lyrics after his date with his girlfriend, Jenny.
If Wonshik wasn't mistaken, Taekwoon's date was supposed to finish at about roughly two hours ago.
Where is he?...
He glanced down at his notebook where the unfinished lyrics were in a messy scrawl.
The song title was written in bold at the top and underlined messily.
Lean on me
It spoke about breakup and the care that took place after and it was a pretty sentimental song, which was the reason Taekwoon seemed to favor it over Wonshik's other songs, which were usually very aggressive and fast paced.
He glanced at his watch again and shut his notebook close before finishing the rest of his coffee.
04:15pm
Taekwoon hyung, I'm going to kill you... Wonshik thought, gripping onto his notebook.
*
Silence consumed the dorm as Wonshik closed the door behind him.
Where is everyone?...
He thought, setting his shoes on the shoe rack.
He checks his phone for any text messages and is relived to find a couple from Hakyeon.
Cha-Eomma: Coming home late. Stuck in traffic and the van is broken. 😭 [14:35]
I think Taekwoon is home too.
Food is in the fridge. Don't do anything stupid while I'm gone. [14:35]
I don't need the dorm nearly burning down like last time just because you left the stove on fire. [14:36]
See you soon~❤️ [14:36]Wonshik snorted as he remembered the last time he forgot to turn off the stove. Hakyeon was certainly not happy.
DollarShik: Kay. No need to worry, hyung. 😊 [16:45]
Cha-Eomma: Knowing you, I'd worry any day.. [16:46]
DollarShik: 😟 [16:46]
Cha-Eomma: 😎 [16:47]
Wonshik chuckled as he read the replies. Hakyeon was an idiot, but he always genuinely cared.
He removed his coat and took off his mask before hanging the clothing on the coat rack.
"Taekwoon hyung?" Wonshik called out, straining his ears for some sort of reply.
Nothing but Wonshik's echo replied, causing Wonshik's brows to furrow.
He walked towards his and Taekwoon's shared room and was a little surprised to find it shut. Taekwoon usually never closes the doors. He leaves it a little open for some light.
Wonshik pressed his ear against the wooden surface and listened intently.
Sobbing. He could faintly hear someone softly crying.
Wonshik opened the door a little and peered inside cautiously, not wanting to scare the person inside.
There, bundled up in a quilt and quietly whimpering into the pillow was his second oldest hyung.
"Hyung...?" Wonshik called out softly.
The other stiffened slightly at the call of his name, his sobs halting for a mere second.
Wonshik shut the door behind him and made his way towards the bed.
He settled himself on the mattress, next to the shivering lump.
"Hyung." Wonshik called, threading his fingers through Taekwoon's ebony hair.
Taekwoon refused to make eye contact with the other. It was too embarrassing.
"Yah.." Wonshik sighed. He'll have to do this the hard way, shouldn't he?
He forcefully manhandled the other to face him. The older whined pitifully, squirming in an attempt to escape.
Wonshik held Taekwoon's wrists tightly but not enough to bruise. He forced the other to look at him and Wonshik smiled sadly at the other, his heart breaking at the state of the other.
Taekwoon's eyes were red and puffy, possibly from hours of crying. Residue of salt water were at the corners of his eyes.
His face was bloated, cheeks flushed red. Tears tracks marred his cheeks as new droplets fell from his sparkling eyes.
His ebony hair was messed up and disheveled, some strands sticking to his forehead.
Wonshik softly cooed at the small pout Taekwoon had on his rose petal lips.
He gathered the other in his arms, Taekwoon's own limbs around Wonshik's shoulders while Wonshik's were comfortably around the older's waist.
"You were sad, huh?.." Wonshik asked, patting Taekwoon's lower back to comfort him.
Taekwoon whimpered pathetically.
"She-... She-..." He buried his face in Wonshik's neck, not wanting to continue."It's okay. You can act however you feel.." Wonshik assured.
Taekwoon mumbled something in incoherently, curling closer to Wonshik's warmth.
"What did you say?" Wonshik asked, leaning closer to listen.
Taekwoon's peered from under the blanket.
"T-thank you..."Wonshik chuckled softly.
"No problem, hyung..."
