Surprise, Surprise~
----------------------------------------------
Living with Wonshik proved to be much more easier than Taekwoon expected. The wolf was kind and so gentle with the bunny that Taekwoon was convinced that he was safe.It had been about three months since Taekwoon was kicked away from his family. Although it was in a way upsetting to know that his family didn't even care to search for Taekwoon, the latter was always much more happier with Wonshik.
Currently, the bunny was frolicking around with the wolf, playing hide an seek. Taekwoon was bored and Wonshik thought that a little fresh air might do him good. He had to admit, the den gets suffocating after a certain amount of time with all kinds of scents filling the air.
The wolf was lazily lounging around under the cool shade of a tree while the bunny chased a small ladybug, pouncing playfully. He was certainly very happy to be outside.
Wonshik was close to dozing off when he felt a small body pounce on him, blunt teeth playfully biting his ears.
"I got you!" Taekwoon exclaimed, giggling happily, eyes bright and adorable.
He pulled at Wonshik's ears, not too roughly since he didn't want to hurt the wolf.
"You got me...." Wonshik confirmed, a lazy smirk on his lips, not even bothering to move from his comfortable position on the grass.
In all honesty, the wolf could just easily flip the bunny over and tower over him but Wonshik let Taekwoon have his own fun. The bunny seemed quite happy with his achievement and Wonshik definitely would not prefer to wipe that cute smile of his face.
Taekwoon flopped on top of Wonshik and sighed happily. He was tired from playing around and yawned cutely.
Wonshik carefully turned over and let the bunny settle on his chest. He cooed at the sleepy expression Taekwoon had on his face as the bunny rubbed his eyes adorably. Taekwoon's ears flopped in front of his face, the soft fur brushing against Wonshik's hair.
"Tired, baby?.." Wonshik asked, fingers stroking Taekwoon's ears, brushing away the ebony hair from Taekwoon's eyes.
Taekwoon merely smiled softly and rest his head on Wonshik's shoulder, tucking his head against Wonshik's neck, his soft breathing hitting the wolf's neck.
Wonshik rubbed Taekwoon's back, lulling the bunny to sleep, pressing a soft kiss to his temple. Within a few minutes, Taekwoon fully fell asleep, a small smile graced on his lips.
*
Taekwoon yawned and stretched his limbs, sprawled on the bed messily. It was currently late afternoon but sunlight was still out. Wonshik had headed over to a pack meeting with his pack and the wolf decided to leave Taekwoon in the den since it wasn't safe.
Not all wolves accepted the idea of a runt being nurtured by a Alpha wolf. Most of them understood or simply didn't care but there were few who were simply disgusted.
There were some who adored him, such as Hakyeon; an Omega wolf who doted on the bunny. He was all warm and motherly, providing a sense of comfort to the bunny. He was a capable babysitter whenever Wonshik wasn't able to take care of Taekwoon.
The Omega wolf lived with his mate, Jaehwan, who was an Alpha and loyal to Wonshik. They both absolutely loved Taekwoon.
There were also some who merely didn't care much about the bunny. One of them was Sanghyuk, an young Alpha that recently presented. Taekwoon, being younger and smaller, liked to play with him once in a while.
Despite being a young Alpha, Sanghyuk was tall, broad and had a good amount of strength in him. He was playful but chose to keep to himself most of the time. The bunny sometimes sat between the wolf's legs and watched him skin a recent kill or just doze under the sun.
