A Mini Fanfic Special just because i love you guys! ^-^ ❤️
In this story, Taekwoon is younger than Wonshik, Kay~?
Wonshik: 24 years old.
Taekwoon: 22 years old.
Also, Taekwoon's, like, a little shorter, a little less broad and just a little smaller than Wonshik. Because this is a fanfiction and anything can happen!
----------------------------------------------
"Taekwoon, you'll be meeting your fiancé in half an hour! Get dressed in something decent and come downstairs!" His father ordered, sounding quite angered.
Taekwoon lifted his head and eyed the door with his reddened eyes. He's been crying for about an hour after hearing the news. A forced marriage.
His mother by all means would've been able to protest and comfort Taekwoon, but, alas, his mother existed no longer to attend to the needs of her child.
He couldn't believe it. Sixteen years ago, his family was one. Together.
Then, merely seven years ago, Taekwoon's mother left her world when a car collided against theirs. She had used her body to shield Taekwoon's small, fifteen year old body.
As a result, Taekwoon was alive while his mother was pronounced dead.
From then... His father changed. He was no longer the sweet man that Taekwoon knew.
His father is now a gambler and alcoholic, his wealth and name the only thing keeping people's respect for him.
He still hadn't lost his money. Thankfully.
Taekwoon traced his slim fingers over the silver, heart shaped locket.
It was the last thing his mother had clasped around his neck. It belonged to her, and for Taekwoon, it was like a part of him as well as her. His soul didn't feel complete without his mother's beloved necklace.
He sat up, rubbing at his eyes to clear the remaining tears. He sniffled before changing into something decent: a pair of jeans and a light pastel blue sweater. He splashed some water on his face to freshen up and hopefully clear the tear stains.
Slowly and hesitantly, he walked downstairs to meet his so-called fiancé.
His father was laughing with another man. The man was wearing a suit and glasses, a dignified and casual expression on his face.
His father looked so happy. So carefree. It didn't look normal. It was far from normal. It was an act, and he knew it. It scared Taekwoon.
"Ah, Taekwoon, my son. You're just in time. Please meet Mr. Kim. You are engaged to his son, Kim Wonshik." His father gripped his hand, a bit too tightly for Taekwoon's liking, and he winced.
He stood in front of his guests and bowed respectfully.
"Anyeonghaseyo, m-my name is Jung Taekwoon. I'm pleased to meet you, Mr. Kim..." Taekwoon shakily breathed, trying to his best to smile.
Mr. Kim eyed him a bit worriedly. When was a twenty two year old so small and shy around people?
"Hello, Taekwoon. I hope to see you at our home very soon..." Mr. Kim warmly smiled, hoping to reassure the boy from whatever anxiety he was experiencing.
