Leo stared up at the ceiling, lying on his back, one arm supporting his head while the other rested on his chest.
It's being quite a hectic schedule for the members. Shangri- La promotions, Radio shows, variety shows, comeback stages, everything had wearied them out, especially Leo and Ravi. Their subunit, LR, had to squeeze in their Whisper Comeback into their already jumbled schedule. It was exhausting but worth it.
He wished he could express his emotions easily as Jaehwan but he couldn't. He was a twenty seven year old male who had learned to take care of himself and control his emotions.
He wished he was a child, so he could laugh, smile and cry as he wanted.
He smiled at this thought and closed his eyes, another tiring day waiting for him.
The next morning, Hakyeon was going his usual early rounds to wake the members up for their schedule. He was tempted to let them and himself sleep more, but he knew as a leader he needed to oblige to the time rules.
He stopped and Taekwoon's and Sanghyuk's shared room and opened the door.
"Taekwoon-ah, Sanghyuk-ah.." Hakyeon called out sleepily.
He sat on Taekwoon's bed to shake him awake as usual but he was shocked to see a small child soundly sleeping. He shifted a little, whimpering, and Hakyeon gently combed the child's hair to lull him back to sleep.
"Sanghyuk-ah...." He whispered to Sanghyuk and gently shook him.
The manake of the group woke up and blinked confusedly at Hakyeon's sudden change of tone. Usually, Hakyeon would be screaming at them to get out of the bed.
"Go wake the others up. Quickly!" He whisper shouted.
Sanghyuk nodded and proceeded to complete the task Hakyeon had given him.
Hakyeon gently lifted the child and wrapped him in the duvet that was on the bed. The clothes that Taekwoon was wearing the previous night ago were now there without its wearer, the child shrunken into them, remaining him with no clothing.
Hakyeon thought for a moment on where he could get clothes and suddenly remembered that Taekwoon had a box filled with his nephew's clothes that were too small for his nephew to wear.
He opened the wardrobe and found the box, pulling it out. Rummaging through the clothing he pulled out an adorable cat onesie that was thankfully the child's size.
Slowly as to not wake the child up, he pulled the onesie over the child, making sure to not wake him up.
Once he was done, he carried the child gently, settling his head on Hakyeon's shoulder, small arms wound around his neck.
He walked to the living room to find all the remaining four members eyeing him and the little bundle he was carrying.
"I found him in Taekwoon's bed. This can't be a trick, right? He can't just runaway and leave a child behind." Hakyeon said, a little bewildered.
The child started to stir again on Hakyeon's shoulder and woke up, his eyes blinking sleepily at the members.
The members cooed in adoration as the child rubbed his eyes sleepily with a hand that was balled into a small fist, the hood of the onesie falling over his eyes.
Hakyeon settled him on the couch where he sat up, gazing at each member.
"Where's Mama and Papa?" He asked them.
They exchanged glances and knew that they'd have to create some kind of ridiculous excuse to hide the real reason.
"They went somewhere and decided to let you stay with us for a while." Hongbin spoke up, coming up with a somewhat decent explanation.
"But they never leave me alone. I want my Mama~..." He whimpered pitifully and started to cry, tears collaring his cheeks.
"Aigoo.. It's okay, sweetie. They said they'll be back soon and that they were sorry for not telling you." Hakyeon sat next to the child, soothing him.
"What's your name?" Wonshik spoke up, eagerly waiting for an answer.
"Taekwoon. Jung Taekwoon." The child answered, shocking the members.
Currently, Hakyeon had left to inform the manager to cancel Taekwoon's schedule and Jaehwan, Sanghyuk and Hongbin were searching about this weird event. Wonshik, however, was softly cooing at the now child Taekwoon.
He couldn't help but pinch Taekwoon's chubby cheeks, gently chuckling at Taekwoon's reaction. The child would turn to look at him confusedly, lips pulled into a pout. It was so adorable!
"Hyung..." Wonshik heard Taekwoon calling for him.
He felt weird since he was being addressed as hyung by someone who was supposed to be older.
"Yes, Taekwoonie?" Wonshik replied, staring at the child.
"I'm hungry..." Taekwoon said, rubbing his tummy.
Wonshik laughed softly and nodded in confirmation.
"What do you want to eat?" Wonshik asked.
"Ice cream?!" Taekwoon jumped up and down excitingly.
Wonshik held back a coo. This kid was too cute for his own good.
"No,Taekwoon. No ice cream before dinner." Wonshik stated firmly.
He thought to himself on how much he sounded like a parent.
"Aww~ okay.." Taekwoon replied glumly.
"We'll eat a lot of ice cream after dinner, okay?!" Wonshik said.
Taekwoon nodded happily and Wonshik leaned forward to ruffle Taekwoon's hair.
"Cute.." He mumbled.
He stood up and walked over to his room to change into his casual wear.
He wore a shirt and jeans after showering and procceeded to the living room.
When he arrived, he found Leo jumping on the couch, his eyes wide with delight.
"Is that fun?" Wonshik asked and Taekwoon nodded.
He chuckled and caught the child as he bounced and they both toppled onto the carpeted floor.
Laughs resonated across the walls as they giggled.
Soon, Taekwoon fell asleep from laughing, his small body curled up atop Wonshik.
Wonshik ran his hand across Taekwoon's soft hair, smiling lovingly.
"Sweet dreams, Taekwoon-ah.."
