"Kim Sanghyuk! Put that tube of glue down!" Wonshik ordered, hurriedly running to his two year old son to grab the glue bottle away from him.
He just came back from grocery shopping. Literally just five minutes and the kid already managed to find a glue bottle. How does one do that?
The child looked up at Wonshik with such sweet, doe eyes that Wonshik didn't have the heart to scold him. Sanghyuk was still a toddler so it's not entirely his fault.
"I swear that there's nothing that you haven't chewed on..." Wonshik grumbled amusingly as he crouched down to scoop the child up, bags still in hand, Sanghyuk squealing in delight.
Wonshik playfully blew a raspberry on the toddler's pudgy stomach, Sanghyuk erupting into peals of laughter at the ticklish sensation.
Wonshik kissed the crown of his head before setting him on the couch beside his four year old son, Hongbin, who was coloring a picture of a puppy diligently.
"Stay here with your Binnie hyung, okay?" Wonshik smiled fondly at the two siblings who immediately latched onto each other adorably, they were like conjoined twins except they aren't connected by the hip.
Hongbin was a good older brother to Sanghyuk. The two shared many equal interests and got along quite well with each other.
"Appaaa~...." A high pitched whine came from the Kitchen, five year old Jaehwan pouting adorably at his Appa.
His stubby fingers pointed at the juice box that sat on the counter, the five year old to short to reach it on his own even though he stood on his tippy toes. The child had abandoned his shoes to stand on his toes and Wonshik tutted at the small mess.
"Cawn't get it..." Jaehwan pouted, puppy eyes blinking at Wonshik, pointing at the juice box accusingly like it offended him.
Wonshik couldn't help but smile fondly. Jaehwan was just too cute. With round eyes and thick lips almost always pulled into a sweet pout. He looked like a little puppy.
Wonshik chuckled as he effortlessly got the juice box and handed it over to Jaehwan.
"Hehe~ tank yuu~...." Jaehwan smiled brightly, forming a clumsy heart with his arms that Wonshik honestly just melted into a puddle of mush.
"Aigoo~ no problem, buddy.." Wonshik cooed, ruffling Jaehwan's fluffy, chestnut hair.
Jaehwan giggled again, flashing Wonshik a toothy grin before running to the living room, the father grinning as he listened to socked feet pattering away.
Wonshik turned to grab the necessary ingredients for a simple lunch since he couldn't cook that well. He and his four kids survived on takeout and once in a while pre-made dinner. Not the best eating habits, Wonshik had to admit. They really needed to start having better eating habits.
Wonshik pulled out a packet of Mac 'n' Cheese when a pair of little arms clung onto his right leg, fingers gripping loosely onto the pant leg.
Wonshik looked down and smiled softly at the sight of his oldest son, Hakyeon, clinging onto his leg, looking up at him with a shy smile.
"Hey, Yeon-ah... " Wonshik greeted, reaching down to lift Hakyeon and set him on the counter.
"Hi Appa~..." Hakyeon replied, waving adorably at Wonshik.
Wonshik chuckled lovingly, he brushed away the hair away from Hakyeon's eyes and smiled brightly.
"Wanna help Appa make lunch?" Wonshik couldn't help but coo at the smile that lit up Hakyeon's face.
