I woke up to someone shaking my body. "What?" I groaned ignoring the pain in my shoulder. "Gotta get up. The car ran out of gas. We have continue on foot." Zack's deep voice woke me up further. "Fine." I said sitting up. A sharp pain struck my shoulder causing me to wail in pain. "Are you ok?!" Zack frantically asked. "Yeah I'm fine. Just give me minute." I said. He nodded and got out of the car leaving me alone with my pain.

I sighed. 'How the hell am I going to find Bri in this mess?' I sighed again slowing sitting up the rest of the way.

I opened up the car door and crawled out, careful not to hurt my shoulder worse. 'Time to meet Greg and Gina.' I thought when I saw their clomps of red hair.

"Hey." I said walking over to Gina. "Hey Kaitlynne! Sorry about my brother shooting you. He feels really bad about that." She replied to my greeting. "It's ok. As long as I'm alive. And he was trying to help." I laughed out. 'It's funny how people think everyone holds grudges.'

"So what's up?" I asked. "Nothing much. The boys are just trying to figure out the plan." She said. We began talking a bit more, trying to get to know each other.

We were so lost in talking to each other we hadn't noticed the corpses coming from behind us.

"KAITLYNNE!!!" Zack yelled running over to me pulling me out of the way before a corpse could grab me. "AHHHH!" I heard a scream from beside me. I turned to see Gina getting bitten in the ankle. "NO!!!" I screamed out as Greg killed the corpse.

Zack and Max killed the rest while Greg held Gina in his arms both of them crying.

The scene reminded me so much of Kaylee I couldn't help but let a few tears fall and a few sobs escape my lips.
Zack walked over to me and rubbed my back in soothing circles.

After a little while Gina's life slipped away. "Greg you shouldn't stay so close to her." I said remembering the incident with Grandma. "Why?" He said with shaky breaths stepping away from his sisters body. "That's why." Max said pointing to Gina's now moving body. "GINA!" Greg yelled trying to run to what used to be his sister.

Max held him back while Zack slipped away from me taking his knife and plunging it into Gina's skull. She fell to the ground with a thud.

"I'm so sorry Greg. I know h-" I started but he cut me off. "NO! NO YOU DONT! DONT YOU DARE SAY YOU KNOW HOW IT FEELS! NO ONE KNOWS!!!" He yelled causing tears to feel my eyes. "Greg calm down." Max tried to reason. He grabbed Greg's arm but he tore his hand away. "NO! JUST LEAVE ME ALONE!!! ESPECIALLY YOU! YOU LITTLE BITCH!!!" Greg yelled then took off into the forest.

I told myself I wouldn't cry but I couldn't hold it in. I dropped to my knees and put my head in my hands sobbing. I sat there and cried. Zack came from beside me and hugged me tightly. I turned and hugged him back sobbing in his chest. "Shhhh. It's ok. I'm not gunna let anyone hurt you." Zack cooed me.

For some reason those simple words calmed me and I wiggled away from Zack wiping my tears. "Come on. We have to get going." I said standing up.
"Yeah. Let's go." Max said starting to walk forward.

I ignored the pain In my shoulder once again and started after him Zack following behind me.

'This is gunna be a long day.'
