We were all in the house when I noticed walkers everywhere outside. Everyone hid. I was hidden in a cupboard under the sink. Zack was under the couch. Ace and Daryl were in the biggest closet we could find. Dad was in the bathroom with the door locked. And Carson was in the attic with Bo.
I waited under the sink for a while but I still heard the shuffle of feet. Suddenly I heard lots of banging and the shrieking of Ace. 'Oh no! They have been found out!' I couldn't do anything about but to wait. If I got out now we would all die.
Soon the shuffle of feet died down and all I could hear was soft sobbing. I crawled out from the cupboard and ran to the room where Ace and Daryl were.
"Oh my god..." I said covering my mouth.
There standing over his lifeless body Daryl was sobbing slightly over his lost companion.
And there lifeless and bloody... Ace laid the life drained from his cold body, and lost to the wind.
