Part 9 /Badass+Badass?

We were walking along the road again. Well me, Max, Zack, Dad, and Bo were walking. Carson and Daryl were riding Ace.

"Where are we going?" I asked grabbing Zack's hand. He looked down at me a smiled.

Oh I guess I should probably fill you in on some stuff.

{This Morning}

I was packing up my things my mind not leaving the subject of the kiss with Zack last night.

'Ok. I really like Zack and- Oh who am I kidding? I love him!' I was so lost in thought I didn't hear the person approaching me from behind.

"Hey." The all too familiar deep voice of Zack startled me. I grunted in pain when I jumped. "Are you ok?!" Zack asked grabbing my uninjured shoulder. "Yeah I'm fine. I just jolted it." I said.

Zack looked down at me. "Ummm about last night..." Zack trailed off. "Yes?" I asked. "Well I know it's not really the best time or under the best circumstances but will you be my girlfriend?" He breathed out. "Of course." I said leaning up and pecking his lips.

{Back To The Present}

"We are heading to somewhere safe." Daryl said. "Where is somewhere safe?" Carson asked him. "I don't know yet. But we'll get there." He said smiling at Carson.

I cleared my throat. "Did I miss something? Cause if I didn't know any better I'd think you two were flirting." I said wiggling my eyebrows. "Your imagining things!" Carson said jumping down from the horse her face bright red.

"Yeah. We are... just friends. Right Carson?" Daryl said still flustered by my comment. "Y-yeah." Carson mumbled out. Me, Zack, and Max laughed at them. "No need to get so worked up! I was just teasing!" I shouted then Carson hit my shoulder.

I flinched at the pain in my arm. "Oh my god! Kaitlynne I'm sorry!" Carson defended. "It's ok." I said smiling.

"But in all seriousness, Do you like Daryl?" I whispered in her ear.

"Maybe."
