"Do you even know where we are going?" I asked Max that was up ahead of us. "Yes I do. Now stop complaining before I throw you over this bridge." He said as we passed over a bridge. "Fine." I huffed.
Zack ran up to me since he was a little bit behind me. He started walking right next to me. "You ok?" He asked. "Yeah just tired." I wasn't about to tell him about how bad my shoulder hurt. "Well if you need a break just let me know." He said walking ahead of me.
We walked for a bit longer when we heard a dog bark.
'Wait. I know that bark!'
"Bo! Bo Riley!" I yelled running up ahead of them. I looked ahead and saw a big Rottweiler bounding towards me.
"Bo!" I yelled running up to the dog.
He jumped up on me licking my face.
"OMG Bo! How?! I thought you were in Picayune with dad..." My voice trailed off.
I jolted up from my spot I had taken on the ground and bolted in the direction Bo came from. I ran up ahead until I saw a car flipped over at the side of the road.
But that wasn't just any car, that was dad's car!
"DAD!!!" I yelled running up to the now on fire car. I looked through the window to see my dad hanging upside down in the drivers seat. "Dad!" I yelled banging on the window but he remained nonmoving.
Zack and Max caught up with me and Zack shattered the window allowing us to drag dad out of the car.
Max and Zack laid his limp body on the ground and I was by his side in an Instant. "Dad!" I said shaking his shoulders. "Dad! Wake up! Dad!" I kept shaking him not caring about the pain in my shoulder. Then his eyes fluttered open.
"Dad!" I yelled as I felt tears roll down my cheeks. "Kaitlynne?" He asked looking up at me. "Yeah." I said smiling. "I missed you." He said sitting up hugging me.
"I missed you too daddy."
