Where am I? The last thing I remember was Wyatt holding me... now, I'm just in a dark room.
I can't really tell where one wall ends and the other begins. I can only see glimpses of objects shining in the room.
That's when a bright glow illuminates form somewhere. I turn around and squint my eyes, letting them adjust to the brightness. As soon as I can actually see what was blinding me, I notice it's a window.
I walk over to it and see someone staring back at me. But it wasn't my reflection... It was my sister.
I rest my hand on the glass. "Kaylee..." I look into her eyes, I can see a deep sorrow there. It was like she was empty. She just kept staring at me tho. She didn't move, she just started at me with a smile on her face.
"Kaylee... say something..." My voice echoed across the room. "Please Kaylee... I miss you so much..." I pleaded with the unmoving reflection. At that point I had given up on her speaking to me.
That's when suddenly the lights came on. The window disappeared and so did my sister's image. "No!" I cried out and spun around. I tried to find the window again but all I saw was the silhouette of a person.
"Kaylee?" I questioned the figure. She turned around to face me. I saw the familiar face of what was once my sister. "No..." Her face was rotting, decayed, torn apart. The only thing I could truly recognize were her eyes.
They had that glint to them... that glint that let me know she loved me.
But everything else... was unrecognizable. I felt the tears overflow from my eyes. I could feel the tickle as they trickled down my cheeks. Then her mouth moved."Now is not the time to cry sister... you have to be strong. You can beat this. I know you can." She spoke to me in her 'do what I say right now voice before I smack you upside the head' voice. "You have to wake up."
"No, Kaylee! You keep telling me to wake up!!! I don't want to go back! I don't want to!!!" I screamed at her and the tears came faster. She sent me a death glare. "I don't want to be afraid anymore! I don't want to go back to that hell hole!"
"NOW!!!" She screamed at me. Suddenly, I was back in the store, staring up at the ceiling.
Someone was shaking my shoulders. "Thank god!" Wyatt was staring down at me. "Can you walk? We have to leave now!" I looked at him confused.
"What's going on?" My heart pounded in my chest, expecting the worst.
"I'll explain later, can you walk?" He asked me once again."I think so." I grabbed his hand as he tried to help me stand. A pain shot through my head and I fell back down.
"Are you alright?" He asked me worried. I nodded and tried to stand again. This time I was able to gain my footing. He swung his arm over my shoulder and helped me walk through the store. For some reason he was being really sneaky. I heard no walkers so I was extremely confused.
We made it out the back door and I saw the cars and the whole group waiting for us. "They're here! Let's go!" I heard someone yell. Wyatt helped me into one of the cars and then climbed In beside me.
Sam got into the drivers seat and Tyler was on my other side. Cameron was in the passenger and everyone else was in the other car.
"What's going on?" All I remember was passing out after my shoulder was scratched and then everything else is a blur."
"Another group had found the store. We heard them talking and it sound as if they were bad people. We didn't want to take any chances so we got out of there." Sam explained to me why we left.
"I know a place we could go." Cameron announced. "Last time I was there it was pretty crowded with dead but maybe it's better now. Could have a lot of supplies." He told us. I glanced at Wyatt beside me. He smiled at me and I tried to smile back but a sudden dizziness flooded over me.
