1 MONTH LATER Emily's POV -EM WAKE UP -ALI? I ask rubbing my eyes while sitting up. -I'VE MISSED YOU SO MUCH Alison says. -I'VE BEEN HERE THE WHOLE TIME ALI, WHERE'D YOU GO? WHY'D YOU LEAVE ME? I ask. Alison walks over and sits down on my bed staring into my eyes. -I'LL EXPLAIN IT ONE DAY, EMILY I PROMISE Alison says. BUT I WANT YOU TO FIND SOMEONE ELSE AND LOVE THEM. -BUT I DON'T WANNA LOVE ANYONE ELSE ALI, I WANT YOU! I yell at her. -I HAVE TO GO she states. -ALI PLEASE DON'T LEAVE AGAIN I beg her. I NEED YOU. Alison leans in closer and wipes my tears with her thumbs. -YOU DON'T NEED ME EM, YOU JUST WANT ME Alison says. She gets up from the bed and I grab her hand stopping her. -STAY WITH ME TONIGHT I plead. Alison closes the few inches between us by kissing me with all of the love in the world. -I CAN'T EM she says leaning back on the headboard. BUT I'LL STAY UNTIL YOU FALL ASLEEP. I close my eyes and open them again only this time I'm alone in my room without Alison.

My eyes scan the room to see Alison's clothes sitting in the corner. I sit up and wipe the several tears that's falling from my eyes and get out of bed to get ready for school.

_________________________ Walking into school everyone stares at me as I walk down the hall. It's been a month now and everyone is still treating me like broken glass. I walk into class late and Ezra says something. -"SORRY IM LATE I DIDN'T WANNA COME" he says reading my shirt. IS THAT WHY YOU'RE LATE? Ezra questions. -YOU COULD SAY THAT I quip walking right by him and sitting in my seat. -EMILY WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU SHOWERED? Mona asks covering her nose. -A COUPLE OF DAYS AGO WHY? I ask opening my textbook. -BECAUSE YOU SMELL LIKE OLD MOCHI Hanna whispers. I roll my eyes and get started on my work. Once the bell rings we all get up and exit the class heading to lunch. While walking to lunch we see CeCe. -IS IT JUST ME OR IS SHE TAKING ALL OF THIS A LITTLE TOO WELL? ITS BEEN A MONTH AND CLEARLY SHE DOESN'T WANNA BE FOUND SO JUST LEAVE IT ALONE, CECE IS DEALING WITH IT THE SAME WAY YOU ARE she quietly yells. I scowl at her and she fixes her mouth to apologize. -I DIDN'T TELL YOU TO GET OVER IT WHEN CALEB LEFT I mutter getting in her face. -EMILY IM SOR... -GO TO HELL HANNA I quip turning to walk away. I know Hanna's right. I should get over it, Alison doesn't want to be found. If she did than she would've let me know where she was. Instead of going to class I leave school going to a club in downtown Philly. -WHAT CAN I GET YOU? A girl at the bar questions me. -A HARD CHERRY COLA I tell her. She places her hand on mines and looks at me while batting her eyes. -ONE HARD CHERRY COLA COMING UP she says. BY THE WAY IM SABRINA, WHATS YOUR NAME? She flirts. -HER NAME IS EMILY A voice says. I look to my side to see a brunette girl. -PAIGE HEY I say. -YOU LOOK LIKE YOU COULD USE A FRIEND she says. -I COULD I cry. Paige hugs me and we drink a couple more drinks before we're totally wasted. -ENJOY YOURSELF EMILY! Paige yells over the music. YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE, DON'T SIT AROUND MOPING ALL DAY. I smile and stand up walking over to the dance floor. Standing in the very middle of the floor Camila Cabello's Crying in the club comes on. Ain't no crying in the club (hey, hey) Let the beat carry away, your tears as they fall baby Ain't no crying in the club (hey, hey) With a little faith, your tears turn to ecstasy I sing along to the lyrics as I can literally feel my body heating up from the liquor. -EMILY YOU DON'T LOOK TOO GOOD Paige says. All of a sudden I start to see Paige in threes. -AND YOU LOOK FUNNY, PIGSKIN I say laughing at her. I automatically regret what I've said and cover my mouth. -PAIGE IM SORRY I apologize. Paige says nothing and runs out of the club away from me. I chase behind her but I begin to feel dizzy, suddenly smacking the ground. -CALL NINE ONE ONE! I hear a random man call out. Out of nowhere I start to foam at the mouth and I completely black out. ________ Opening my eyes I can hear the sound of a heart monitor. I look around and see a daze of a blonde girl standing at the door. -ALISON I call out trying to get up from the bed. -LAY BACK DOWN HONEY I hear someone say. I look over to see Hanna's mom Ashley next to me. -WHERE AM I? I question. -IN THE HOSPITAL Hanna states. DON'T YOU KNOW NOT TO DRINK WITHOUT ME, WHEN YOU DO THINGS LIKE THIS HAPPEN. Ashley smacks her arm before putting a cold compress on my head. -YOUR MOTHER AND SISTER ARE ON THEIR WAY the nurse says walking in. YOU HAVE ALCOHOL POISONING she states. YOU'RE SIXTEEN AND I KNOW YOU'RE GONNA DRINK BUT BE MORE CAREFUL she says. I nod my head and she gives me some meds before leaving out. Ashley leaves out as well to take a call leaving just me and Hanna in the room. -THE GIRLS ARE ON THEIR WAY she says. EMILY IM SORRY ABOUT EARLIER, I SHOULD'VE NEV.. -I KNOW HAN, ITS FINE I say smiling at her. IM SORRY TOO. -I KNOW ITS NOT EASY EM BUT PLEASE STOP She says hugging me. I CAN'T LOSE YOU, YOU'RE MY BEST FRIEND ALMOST LIKE MY SISTER. -IM SORRY I cry onto her shoulder. I MISS HER SO MUCH HAN. -WE DO TOO EM Hanna states. BUT WE HAVE TO STICK TOGETHER TO GET THROUGH THIS, YOU CAN'T GO AROUND ACTING LIKE A DOOFUS UNLESS WE'RE ACTING LIKE DOOFUSES WITH YOU she cries back. We laugh with tears rolling down our faces and hug again. -I LOVE YOU E Hanna says. -LOVE YOU TOO H I say back. The girls all get there and we hang out for a while before my mom comes yelling at me. I stay in the hospital for a few more hours until everything is out of my system and I'm cleared to go home. Once home I pack up all of Alison's things and put them in a box in the closet. She'll come back one day, but until then I can't keep crying.
