BBU

I drive to school thinking of how I'll make it up to Dallon. It's too late to buy him something. Should I just apologize or do something more? Does he actually feel the same? Should I even be apologizing if he does?

I sigh and walk inside the highschool. I think I'll just talk to Dallon in private about what happened.

I go down the last hallway and immediately see Dallon, Ryan S, and Spencer. Assuming they've already asked Dallon about what happened yesterday, I take his arm and I run with him down another hallway and into the janitor's closet.

"We need to talk." I pant.

Dallon smiles his gorgeous smile. "I agree."

I mentally prepare myself to ask. I feel my face flush as I speak. "Do... do you actually like me? Because after the kiss, I overreacted but you told me to leave, and I thought-"

He leans in toward me and we kiss. He's kissing me. Dallon is kissing me! Just a touch and a thought and I'm gone. I immediately tilt my head more to make this last longer. I pull him closer to me by his waist while he lazily slings his arms around my neck. I can tell he's still inexperienced with this sort of thing, but that fact makes him so lovable. I'm so fucking glad I wore lip balm today. I hope he likes the taste of cherry chapstick.

We leave each other's lips with wide eyes. His icy blue eyes may actually go well with my coffee brown ones. Maybe we are like iced coffee.

I gasp. "I can't believe that just happened. You kissed me!!! I don't believe it. Oh god. Oh my god. Dallon Weekes just KISSED ME OH MY FUCK-"

Dallon suddenly looks worried. "Brendon! Stop screaming!" He whisper shouts. I didn't realize I was being so loud. Wouldn't you scream if your crush of how many years kisses you?

The bell rings for first period. The sound rings through the janitor's closet and the halls outside. We both groan in response. I forgot it was still the beginning of school.

"Wanna skip first period?" I ask.

He purses his lips for a second but nods. "Can we actually talk now?"

"Yeah... So, you feel the same? Really?" My cheeks are dusted pink. Of course he feels the same, Brendon! He just kissed you!

"Yes, I do. I-I think I just wasn't accepting the feelings at first. Sorry for snapping at you after it happened. I was just really shocked and nervous." Dallon says in response.

I give a reassuring smile. "It's fine. I knew you didn't want your first kiss yet. I was just really in the moment."

I notice him look at his feet. He bites his lip out of habit and opens his mouth to speak. "Do you... uh, can we kiss again?"

"Of course." I beam.

I happily move forward to kiss his soft lips again. Everything about him is entrancing. It's crazy how much I've waited to kiss him, and this is the third time doing this. I was so hopelessly in love for so long, and he finally comes around and feels the same.

I start to chuckle a little and then full-on laugh.

"What happened? Why'd you pull away?" Dallon asks. He starts to giggle. Ugh, why his giggle is insanely attractive, too?

"I never thought you'd ever love me... But I guess that's not true now." I reply.

His soft hand runs through my hair. "I guess I do love you. But... let's not actually date yet. I don't think I'm ready." He sighs, almost disappointingly. He shouldn't feel bad for that! I don't really need to wonder at all as to why he wouldn't feel bad. If he doesn't want to rush anything, it's fine!

"That's totally okay!! We should take it slow. And, we should also get to math now." I say, thinking of how second period might start soon.

Dallon has a confused face for only a millisecond before he speaks. "Oh. Oh! I forgot we're still in school." He laughs.

I smile. "You're adorable." I hug him as we walk out of the janitor's closet.

The bell for second period rings and we walk down the hallway to math.

On the way there, we pass by Ryan Ross. Dallon doesn't notice him, but I smirk as I watch Ryan's face fall as he sees us.

"Hey, Dallon, I need to go to the bathroom while it's still passing period. I'll meet you in math?" I lie.

"Kay. See you in class, and don't be late!" He smiles. I nod in response and catch up with Ryan.

He sees me but keeps walking. I run up to him once again but he turns his head the other way. I groan.

"Ugh, what do you want? Aren't you too busy with Dallon?" Ryan sneers.

"I wish. But, I wanted to apologize to you. Sorry for snapping the other day and sorry about the argument. I know we both like Dallon, but can we try and not fight? For him, at least?" I ask.

He looks hesitant at first but nods. "Sure. For Dallon. And I'm sorry too."

"Good! No harsh feelings?" I raise an eyebrow.

"Nope. Wait, are you dating him though? He seems to actually like you. Unlike me." He sighs.

"Uh, we're not dating, but we have the same feelings for each other. Dal doesn't want to rush or do anything yet." I respond.

Ryan grimaces. "Yeah, don't call him 'Dal'. I called him that."

"Sorry! I didn't know..." I apologize. "What about 'Dally'?"

Ryan rolls his eyes. "Aren't you going to be late?" Wow. So much for no harsh feelings.

I run back to math just in time. The bell rings a few seconds after I sit in my seat. I'm glad I sit next to Dallon. He looks over at me and giggles quietly. "That was a long piss, huh?"

I nod. That's not technically lying, right?
