(Brendon's dream from chapter 15. Requested by exclusively_brallon. Enjoy!)
BBU
I look to the clock on my wall. It's already nine? My hiccups dissolve into shaky breathes as I fall asleep. It'll be fine. Everything will be fine.
~💤Enter dreamland💤~
I hear a baritone ukulele being strummed as I open my eyes. I'm laying with Dallon under a tree while he plays his instrument. It's early in the morning because we woke up to see the sunrise together. It's a school day, but we already got dressed and brought our stuff, so we would be ready for school.
The tree is a big willow, with its leaves swaying to the wind. It's cold, so he made me borrow his jacket while we lie here. The scenery is incredibly pleasing to the eyes. There's colorful plants all around us, yet the situation doesn't seem crowded. It's just me and him. The sound of his ukulele doesn't echo, but it's soft enough and gives me a safe feeling.
Dallon and I are leaning against the tree as we attempt to watch the sunrise. The sky is still dark, but we can tell it's coming soon.
"Do you think the sun will come up soon?" He asks, plucking the strings of his instrument.
"Yeah. It's almost six o'clock anyways." I say.
"It's so beautiful here. I wish I could freeze this moment with you and live in it forever." He remarks.
"Me too. This would be my heaven. But then it wouldn't be special." I sigh.
"True." He bites his lip. "You have to have good with the bad."
"Dallon! Dallon, look!" I exclaim, and we both sit up more. The sky gets brighter and we can see faint light appear from the edge of nowhere.
"Sunsets are overrated. The sunrise is so gorgeous." He smiles and scoots closer to me. I snuggle my head into his shoulder while the two of us face the sunrise.
"Not as gorgeous as you." I tap his nose, making him giggle.
"No, you're the gorgeous one." He says. "Look, I can even sing about it."
"Could this be love at first sight, or should I walk by again?
You're photogenically dressed, the conversation begins.
Oh god, now what did I say, let me start over again." He sings with his melodic voice.I chuckle. "That's definitely not true, though. We were not in love the first time we saw each other."
Dallon looks away. "Yeah. Sorry about that."
"It's fine. It just took you a while to feel the same. I still love you." I grin.
"I love you, too." His eyes scrunch up as he smiles.
We lean in to kiss each other. It's a sweet peck, with an amazing meaning and feeling behind it. Just plain love.
I lean on his shoulder as we watch the night fade away into morning.
"Should we get to school, now?" I ask.
"I guess. I think we still have time, though." He checks his watch.
"Okay. We'll stay for a few more minutes." I whisper.
He hugs me, and I hug back, glad that we're together in this moment.
~💤Leaving Dreamland💤~
I wake up to a soft knock on my door. I'm still in a peaceful state from my dream, even though it ended so soon. Maybe that's a good thing; I didn't want it to end badly. Everything soon fades into reality as I awake.

Sorry this took so long to publish! I was waiting a bit until I had an idea of what I wanted to do for the dream and to have it fit in with the story. Hope you enjoyed!
